So I'm pretty good about getting photos of the kids and family taken regularly. However, I am not good at ordering prints and/or framing. Now that we're working on repainting the house, I'd like to start thinking about where to hang stuff. Right now, DD looks like an only child lol.
What do you guys do? Do you have gallery walls in the family room? A few prints in your bedroom? I was thinking of framing newborn photos and putting them in each kids room. Hallways? Entryway? Give me ideas! I hope to walk a fine line of appreciating all the $$$ we've spent on all of these photos and making the house a shrine, kwim lol

Mostly on my hard drive lol. Not helpful. The nursery has some newborn photos and the entryway has a frame with a few family photos and photos of DS1. I need to work on that too!
Sadly, on my computer. I never print/order pics. Just have files on my computer. We never even printed any prints from our wedding! Ive been meaning to do it but just always get sidetracked.
The ultimate plan would be to have our hallway be a gallery of family prints and then perhaps a canvas print of something over our TV
Only photos of people we have are in the hallway on the 2nd floor. It's a big gallery wall. Well, I finally added more to it last night (DD was born, but only 4 months old, lol) so it's probably at "huge" level now. Not floor to ceiling yet, but getting there.
I chose all black frames and white, black, or no mat. All different sizes (including some square ones and a few with a scalloped shape oval opening for the pic). The frames are all different styles, some detailed and some super simple. I just started hanging stuff wherever it looked good.
The rest of the house is art or non-person photos.
We have a wall of photos going up the stairs. Not sure I would call it a gallery wall since it's not a mix of styles. It's mostly wedding pictures with the idea that we will change some out as the years roll on. We also have a canvas in the foyer and a small canvas in the family room.
Eventually I'll get a couple of canvases made of DS for his room. Give me a few years.

I have a family photo that I change out annually and a set of photos of the kids when DS turned one that I will probably never change hanging in my entryway. We have a pretty open floor plan so there just aren't many walls where I can hang photos.
I also have some framed photos of the kids and family on a shelf/faux mantle above our tv in the family room.
I have a couple picture frames sitting on mantel, desk, etc. That's it. I have never had family pro pictures done, so there are 0 of those. I suck at picture taking etc. I did order a big print of DD but it is still rolled in the canister it arrived in.
I have a giant 16ft long photo wall in our lower level family room/playroom. I threw some other stuff in so it's not all photos. I like that it's visible, fun, easy to change out and all in one spot. I get so many compliments.
The kids each have 2 frames in their rooms. One wedding frame in our room on a nightstand.
Our office has 3 shelves of pics of the family and farm.
In the spring we are adding on off our kitchen. We're also having a photo shoot done late February. I want to get a giant b&w canvas of us with the farm in the background for one wall.
My house is a shrine and I'm a-ok with that! I love my family. I used to be all anti photowalls/photoframes photos around for the sake of pretty decor but I've realized I like them, I enjoy them and I live here. I'm going to surround myself with what I already paid for and makes me happy.
I also like to sort through, order and then rotate the pics in the frames. It's sort of a hobby of mine (although I'm terrible at taking photos..ha) and really relaxing to me. I usually do a lot of candids. So much easier and more my style. A lot less fussy in the need for perfection department too.
Dining Room. A few in our kitchen/living room. A few on our builtins. We don't have a lot of wall space for larger prints so it's mainly 5x7 or 4x6 in frames.

Mostly on DVDs and my computer. I've been meaning to frame some prints and order canvases, especially since DD was born. But we live in a small apartment and are planning to move in the next year, so I decided to hold off until we move and see what works with the new space.
In the meantime, we have a few 4X6 engagement photos framed on a buffet in the living room, and an 8X10 family pic framed on a hutch in our hall.

Since we just moved in about 4 months ago - we don't have much up on the walls yet.
My plan is to do a gallery wall down the main part of the hallway. Then the hallway kinda L's in shape, so on the second part I already have a small grouping of wedding pictures and another small grouping of the kids hand/footprints done in a clay mold type thing from when they were babies.
On our mantel we have two small frames of wedding pictures and some candles, decorations, etc. We also have row of upper and lower cabinets with a kinda shelf space down the middle in the hallway, so I have all our family photo albums lined up with with a few picture frames in front. I'm a bug scrapbooker though, so lots of pictures get put into albums.

Everywhere. We have a gallery wall in our living room plus additional framed photos on our piano, sofa table, in the dining room, bedrooms, and basement.
Gallery wall going up the stairs, a few frames on the built in book shelves in the living room, plus a couple framed pics on my desk and dresser. And each of the boys has a pic or two in his room

I have a few different photo wall, but my favorite is two big gallery frames to go up the stairway...I like that you can sorta-see them from downstairs but mostly for people who have access to the upstairs.
I also have this oil-painting style photo on canvas of DH and DS in our living room/playroom:
