And if you don't love it the way it is....check out this Dallas schools' version. Its awesome. The kids are so into it. Shot in ONE take by students!!!
Bruno Mars said he cried when he saw it. I just....adore him. I feel like I'm seeing a music legend in his heyday and I kind of feel like I'm part of something special. I know that's dumb. lol
Did you see Bruno perform on Ellen. It was fantastic because it was so obvious that he loves what he was doing.
Bruno Mars is one of those people I think could be legendary someday if he doesn't fall victim to any shenanigans (because I once said the same about Christopher Brown).

I love this song, but I hadn't seen the video.
Is it just me, or does it feel like he's kind of channeling the best of what Michael Jackson once was in this video? I mean, he is his own artist and seems even cooler and funnier, but between the hat, some of the vocals and even some of the movement, it reminds me a lot of the days in MJ's career when he was doing the things that made him a superstar.

The song itself is a throwback to The Time and early 80s funk. The first time I heard it, I honestly thought The Time had gotten back together. If you are a youngster, look up the Jungle Love video, with all the moves and the preening.

I also feel like we are watching a legendary performer. We listen to this every day. If you say "Uptown Funk" to DD (13 mos) she starts bopping her head.
