Do you? Is a big deal to you? Brought to you but grown adults writing status about how they need a valentine, or being alone again.
I celebrate with the kids I watch, if it falls on the day I have them but I never got into Valentine's day with a so. So I don't personally get the hype but I see how it could be cute.
I think so? Last year was my first v-day with BF and we celebrated by exchanging cards and making a nice dinner at home and spending the evening together. I think we watched Netflix and played a game.
We haven't discussed it yet this year but I assume we'll do something similar. I may even go crazy and buy him some chocolate, lol. But it's not a big deal to me at all. I see it as a nice excuse to do something a little out of the ordinary, and since it's on a Saturday this year I might try to cook something a little more complicated since I'll have the time. No idea what.
Pretty much stopped at this point. When we were dating we always went out to eat on valentines. Now I have no desire to deal with all the lines and waiting.
Not really. I mean, we acknowledge it, but it's not a big deal. It's a dumb holiday anyway and everything gets ruined by price fixé menus. We are leaving for Mexico early in the morning of Valentines Day this year, but that is a product of it being a Presidents weekend so our trip fell there for that reason. Otherwise, meh.
Yep. We usually do something cute with the kids on the night of, and then a date night. Nothing big, but I like an excuse to get flowers, a fancy dinner and a good wine.
It's not a big deal to us. I mean, of course I wouldn't turn down a lovely dinner and some candy but 8/10 times we just lounge at home and make an awesome dinner.
And by lounge I mean PJs/sweats/you name it, then binge eat the food I have cooked and then pass out.
Something small and sweet. Mostly because we met and got engaged in February, so it's a special month for us. I bake and get him a small gift/card. H gets me flowers/card/small gift.
Nothing big. We usually get some nice steaks and make a point to do something fun (at home, cause toddler). Last year it was ribeyes and House of Cards.
We started dating on 2/21 so we used to do dinner out on that day, I hate crowds.

Kind of, but not really. I got him a Batman figure, he got me a small sock monkey last year. I made dinner and we watched a movie so it was like a lot of weeknights, nothing special.
