Molly White Folks, I am banning users that are insulting and not in my District. I do not apologize for my comments above. If you love America, obey our laws and condemn Islamic terrorism then I embrace you as a fellow American. If not, then I do not.
Molly White pledges her allegiance to a foreign country & hates Muslims more than she loves America.
Further, she's a coward who can't tolerate dissent or debate. Hence her repeatedly deleting comments that disagree with her ignorance. Can't get em all, Molly. The majority who've seen this clearly reject your unthinking bigotry.

On January 29, 2015, Rep. White stirred controversy by instructing her staff to address Muslim constituents participating in Texas Muslim Capital Day and ask them to "publicly announce allegiance to the United States."[6] ^ Hamilton, Reeve (January 29, 2015). "Rep to Staff: Ask Muslim Visitors to Pledge Allegiance". The Texas Tribune. Retrieved January 29, 2015.

But what about free speech, Ms. White? Do you hate America?!?!?
I'm not agreeing that Muslims have to continually denounce terrorist groups either but that was the request - "renounce Islamic terrorist groups". Big difference between that and renouncing your faith!
It's like the difference between being asked to renounce pedophiliac priests and being asked to renounce Catholicism.
Yes, we did read it.
Why do you always talk to us like we are fucking idiots?
Also, why do Muslims have to make special loyalty oaths?
Why it it acceptable for an elected official to request it?
Why is it acceptable for said official to be testing her staff, either intending to drive them out willingly through this maneuver or through a veiled threat to fire them?
Why do you always talk to us like we are fucking idiots?
Questions 2-4, you'll have to ask that representative that made the proposal, because I have no idea.
The first and last question - I don't think I did/do. I was just pointing out that the headline was completely erroneous and everyone was responding as if she did ask Muslims to renounce their religion. Perhaps you're being oversensitive? I don't think reading too quickly equals being an idiot if that puts your mind at ease.

This is not a problem or offensive in any way?
I did leave an Israeli flag on the reception desk in my office with instructions to staff to ask representatives from the Muslim community to renounce Islamic terrorist groups and publicly announce allegiance to America and our laws.
Oh, what she said is definitely offensive.
We don't need to misrepresent what she said though. If she had asked people to renounce their religion, she shouldn't even be sworn in because she is incapable of upholding the constitution.
The correct order of pledging allegiance is first the US, then Texas, then Texas BBQ. Where does pledging allegiance to Israel come in?
LOLOLOLOL
No no, you got that wrong. We pledge allegiance first to Texas, then to Texas BBQ and solemnly swear that real chili does not have beans, tomatoes, or served over spaghetti.

Try this: "the subject line is misleading compared to what she said" (neutral observation) instead of "didn't anyone here read this?" (condescending and implying people didn't read). I'm not oversensitive. You are just eating crackers with me.

Amen!
I have a lot to learn before I move. I just made some amazing chili. Beans, tomatoes and ground beef.
I thought this reply, from an ED of the Council on American-Islamic relations (http://www.cairchicago.org/) was great.
Don't worry lady, those young Americans probably will not last long in your office, but not because it is the bastion of American law and they are anti-American; nope. Because it is a sewer of anti-American sacrilege whose stench is detected all the way in Chicago, and they are proud Americans.
"Islamophobic Radicalization." It's the other radicalization we have yet to acknowledge exists by its name.
Texas representative Molly White has been radicalized by anti-Muslim and Islamophobic narratives. And she's "in power". That ought to freak all good Americans out.
Here, you have Muslim Capitol Day, an event organized by CAIR that seeks to encourage young Muslims to learn how to advocate their greivances and aspirations through the system, rather than outside of it. It is the pinnacle of integration efforts, civic participation and good citizenship.
Rather than applaud that and do her part as a public servant by opening her doors to all constituents, representative Molly White abuses her public power to threaten, alienate and turn away young visitors simply and only because they are Muslim.
Her message:
- I shall assume you are terrorists and/or terrorist sympathizers by default unless you "prove" otherwise JUST BECAUSE you happen to be Muslim.
- I shall refuse to accept that you are Americans who abide by our laws unless you "prove" otherwise JUST BECAUSE you happen to be Muslim.
- I shall put up the flag of a foreign nation whose occupation you question, because for me you Americans are foreign, while them foreigners are American, JUST BECAUSE you happen to be Muslim.

At least you acknowledge your heresy. This is the first step.

Her post just prior to the flag one.
This is why I support American Law for American Courts, especially in cases involving women, wives, children and parent-child relationships. Let me remind you that just because the judge in this article says words like voluntary, non binding, and tribunal doesn't mean he is telling the truth. Remember, in the Koran, it is ok to lie for the purpose of advancing Islam. Texans must never allow fringe groups of people to come here so that they can advance their own culture instead of becoming an American and assimilating into the American way of life. That, I can assure is not the intent of most Muslims who move to America.
These Muslim kids were singing "God Bless America." And the fuckfaces yelled at them and told them to go home. They were doing her fucking pledge there in public and they were still rejected and demeaned.

'Eating crackers with me'? What does that mean?
I'll try to phrase things more carefully in the future. I admit I am unable to figure out what's going to upset people on this board. 'Die in a fire' and 'cuntwitch' is ok, but "Did anyone read this" is offensive. The rules are complicated!
