SCOTUS has three women.
And let's not discount Sandra Day O'Connor who was the first.

I totally forgot about retired Justice O'Connor. I think she even lives out West in like ID or WY.
That's a good one b/c I read once that her male counterparts got jobs right out of law school and she ended up working for free for a DA somewhere to get her foot in the criminal-justice door b/c they "didn't hire women attorneys."

I don't know that I would say #1, yet. But I definitely feel like she'll be #1 soon/ within the next two decades? I'm 1/2-way through her book, & unbelievably impressed! I feel like the world is lucky to have heard her voice at such a young age, but also realize the inexperience* of her youth, is what creates such an appeal to listen to her voice.
*Though I realize she's been through more than a lot more than a lot of people will ever live. There's a certain innocence & optimism that her young age provides.
