I have a code for 25 free cards through shutterfly so I'm going to do birth announcements.
I've never made cards before and I didn't realize there was a spot on the back for another picture and some text. What text should go on the back? The picture on the back seems really small so I shouldn't put a really nice one back there, right?

You don't have to put something on the back. If you choose the layout with only text and no picture and leave the text blank it will just print the background of your choice. We didn't put anything on the back of Natalie's card, but on Nolan's I chose a layout that was just a full picture, no text and put a picture of both kids together.
You don't have to out anything back there if you don't want to. I think it's a sweet spot for a sibling pic, though.
Oh, I awed my sibling pic on the front. I only have 3 pics to work with because the photographer is busy and wasn't going to edit until this weekend. Because my code is only good until Saturday, I emailed and asked her for 3 pictures. I mean, we did the session on the 13th. I would think I would have them my now. It's only 20 pictures.
You can change the layout on the back. I put 3 more pics of W on the back because he's adorable and I'm an AW.
How do you change the layout? For now I put one pic from the day he was born from our camera with no text on the back.
I took a screenshot on the mobile version. When you have the back page of your card open in your projects, click design, and then click the layouts tab.
