I've had a terribly busy couple of weeks at work and some very contentious emails and meetings this week. After a bad one yesterday afternoon, a follow up meeting was scheduled for this morning.
I told everyone I was going out of town and couldn't be there. My flight is at 3:30 and the meeting was at 8.

Hang in there!
I had a shitty week at work too. I told a vendor today I couldn't talk about a project because I needed to check out of work. It was noon. She understood.
I have two. I'm looking (just online) at houses in the town where TL lives. Just fact finding, but I'm seriously pondering a move there. It would also be a move closer to a good school where I can finish my degree. I keep looking at *ahem* special occasion boots and was very sad the pair of ivory Luccheses sold on eBay. Also just looking, but the seed has been planted. Eep.
Do special occasion boots mean the kind of boots I think they are???

My friend is annoying the SHIT out of me. She talks about shit when she is drunk and now is pissed that people know things about her personal life and "OMG! Who is running their mouth!" YOU ARE!

jojoandleo I read that thread too, and all of the excuses were blowing my mind. Did she really think she was going to post that, on ML of all places, and people were going to be all "What a great wealth of information he provided you!" And not judge the fuck out of the fact that she not only liked, but respected that guy?? I was ragey after reading that.
I agree on that being a deal breaker. My partner has to be completely on board with gay marriage and be pro choice or it's a no go.
That's totally what I thought. Until people started replying.
I don't think of boots as wedding shoes? Which is weird, considering I grew up in Texas and live in Oklahoma.
Luccheses are cowboy boots, right? I assumed ivory ones would be worn in a wedding, not in the bedroom. I have a few friends that have had a country style wedding though so it's where my head went.
I guess to go off that, I fell in love with a $1500 engagement set the other night. I stupidly tried it on, and yeah. I took a picture of it on, and it showed up in my dream and I might have told B I didn't expect it SOON... but I loved it more than anything. I feel like it's flameful because while we've talked about getting married, and all of that, it isn't something that will happen right now and the cost seems high for me.

Lol, true. But given her location, that's where my head went.
Should have remembered the ropes!
I totally took it as boots for the bedroom. Cowboy or just about any other kind of boots wouldnt register when someone said special occasion boots, especially after the ropes the other night lol.
Y'all are cracking me up. TL and I joke (fantasize?) about getting married, and I always send him links to "wedding appropriate" boots. Said Luccheses were perfect, and I almost bid on them on eBay. Lol. If it happens, it will be a long way off.

I stand corrected lol, and I am from Nebraska and Texas where cowboy boots with wedding dresses are fairly common. I guess my mind is just in the gutter all the time.

Maybe so, but in the meantime, have some fun. Look at these!
Dammit, I can't post the picture. But they're awesome!

Damn! TL would be AAAAAALLLLLL over those. Once he helped my clumsy ass off the floor.
Oh, yeah. I don't ever actually walk anywhere in mine. But, if you are bent over something, the heels help you get into a better position. It's got something to do with the angles. I don't know; I'm not a physicist.
