Trying to keep it together in front of my kids. It's just hard when everything I'm reading is a 1 to 5% chance that she even makes it to birth. And it's also hard not to worry about the tough things she'll face when she gets here.
All I want is to get her here so we can care for her. But I'm also struggling with knowing she's going to have struggles once she gets here. I just wish I could fast forward to like 37 weeks.
i can't lose this little girl, y'all. I just can't.
Didn't your doctor say that the vast majority of miscarriages would have already occurred by now? The Google is not your friend here. Stay strong. Little miss Bernadette has one great mother.

((hugs)) remember that means there is a 95-99% chance she'll make it here safely. You are an amazing Mom and you will get her whatever help and supports she needs to have a great life. Lots of T&Ps for you both in the mean time.
no she is saying google tells her there is only a 1-5% chance she'll make it here safely. But I'm hoping Dr Google is completely FOS and hoping/praying that all the positive signs you've seen so far mean that Birdie's got this in the bag. ((((((((Hugs)))))))))) KA

I just read an article that said 91% of babies with Turner Syndrome diagnosed via amnio (so around 14 weeks?) survive. Most of the miscarriages happen very early in pregnancy. The fact that she has made it this far is a really good sign!

Just so you know, I don't know where you found this, and I don't care to know. I just keep repeating it to myself every time the panic starts to set in.

"Even though the high risk of miscarriage probably sounds scary, researchers believe that the majority of miscarriages related to Turner Syndrome occur in the first trimester. By the time the baby has reached the point of being eligible for an amniocentesis, the odds of pregnancy loss are not nearly as staggering. One study found that 91% of babies diagnosed via amniocentesis survived to birth."
