How much do you pay for a mani/pedi where you live? I live in LCOL, and it is $55-60, which I think is ridiculous! These are not fancy spas, just regular old salons.

We charge $35 for a pedicure, $15 for a regular manicure, $25 for Shellac manicure. Our town is small, SW lower Michigan. Color starts at $55, highlights $65.
The nail salon I go to is $45 for basic mani/pedi. $60 if I get shellac on my fingers.
I like taking my friends and family from out of town to a spa but it's $117 for a basic mani/pedi. It's more of a spa experience though.
Eta: I live in a HCOL area. That's not even at the more expensive spas. Another spa I go to (very rarely) charges $215 for the "express time saver mani/pedi" lol. I only get facials there.
I'm surprised that I have one of the cheaper ones. Today I paid $41 for a manicure, pedicure, eyebrow threading, and a 'princess pedi' for DD. We live in Dubai, where nearly everything is expensive.
I posted about this a while back. I can't believe how expensive it is in so many areas. I live in NYC, very HCOL and it's pretty cheap here. In my salon, mani is $8 pedi is $15 and they run a special M-W for $20. Shellac gel mani is 20-25. Spa pedi 25. There are more expensive places, but that the average run of the mill place in the neighborhood.

At the Vietnamese nail salon by the grocery store its $15 for a mani and $20 for a pedi for the basic service. At the spa at one of the local resorts they start at $55 for a pedi and go up to about $90.

I would consider my city MCOL. My nail tech charges $25 for gel nails + $5 for the soak-off. I think a regular mani is 18 but I haven't gotten a regular mani in years.
