Butter on everything. Whole milk. Heavy cream. I would love to eat like this. Sorry it's a stressor though!! I'm sure your DD will perk back up quickly. Stomach bugs can be really rough.

Grilled cheese sandwiches cooked in plenty of butter? Graham crackers with buttercream frosting? Scrambled eggs cooked in butter (because protein is important too!)? Bagel with cream cheese? I don't know about your kid, but mine loves going to the Chinese buffet, which might be a fun treat, too.
Can kids eat hemp protein powder? That's what I put in smoothies and mixed in oatmeal when I was trying to fatten up to TTC.
I also cook most things in coconut oil and serve lots of protein- eggs, quinoa, nuts and nut butters.
And full fat everything. I especially like stony field yogurts (the big tub) that come with the huge layer of cream on top. DD and I share the cream when we open it instead of mixing it into the rest of the tub.
Instead of giving plain milk try doing a smoothie. When we were trying to put weight on the kids we started off each day with a smoothie - whole milk, whole milk yogurt, some fruit, maybe spinach leaves, and either peanut butter or chocolate syrup.
Also, add cream and butter to things. Example: spaghetti with marinara... Add butter and cream. Serve fruit with whipped cream. Slather veggies in melted butter. Grilled cheese with butter on inside and outside. Crackers with peanut butter, Nutella or butter. Lots of toast with butter or Nutella.
Banana or strawberry milkshakes: One can condensed milk, one can evaporated milk plus the fruit. Blend it all.together and serve with whipped cream on top.
Make hot chocolate with evaporated milk and heavy cream
Cheesecake, creme brulee, flan.
Noosa yogurt. There is also a yogurt from Iceland that is high in fat but I forget the name. Basically most European yogurts are higher in fat and delicious. If you have an international store near you you may have luck finding them. Of course Greek yogurt is available everywhere.
