Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was found unresponsive in a bathtub Saturday, almost exactly three years after her mother died in the same manner.
A spokeswoman for the Roswell, Ga., Police Department, Officer Lisa Holland, said Brown was given cardiopulmonary resuscitation until rescuers arrived.
"Her husband and a friend located her in a bath tub this morning and she was unresponsive," their statement read. "He started CPR and a police officer took over life-saving measures until an ambulance arrived. She was transported to the hospital. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers."
Officer Lisa Holland, a spokeswoman for the Roswell PD, said Brown, who is about to turn 22 in March, was taken alive to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell.
The incident comes a week after a TV movie about her mother and two weeks before the three-year anniversary of her mother's death, which happened on the eve of the 2012 Grammy Awards.
I was at a rest stop in CT and this was the ONLY THING CNN was talking about.
She is breathing now.
Yes, it was on nonstop...until ISIS beheaded that other Japanese dude and CNN had something else to talk about.
Why is this girl's medical issue breaking news? Why is it so important that CNN covered it nonstop? Who the fuck called the media?!? Way to respect that poor girl's privacy.

It's like Brittney. They have all these people around them who should be stepping up should be looking out for them, but there's so much money to be made and fame to glom onto, no one does anything. And here, years later still there are casualties. So tragic. I don't blame Whitney. But this was preventable.
Agreed or like Breezy. No one tells these people they are fucking up because they have their hands out or want to live a fancy life. It's just plain sad.
Her Mom had an addiction that is an illness. I take issue with blaming them when they are/were sick themselves.

So much this. Famous people have "yes" people at every turn. No one is really looking out for them.

So very sad. And as much as I was curious for an update, I hate that the media is hounding this family in yet another very difficult time. I do wonder if this was a suicide (attempt) given how close it was to the anniversary of her mother passing and so similar.
