I will update tomorrow once I call. I will address the woman's attitude and also the lack of places to feed the baby. I really hope this will cause them at least to consider a comfortable place to feed children. They do have a lunch cafe but it was a 45 minute wait to get a seat and you have to be dining in to sit there.

Don't call. Put it in writing. E-mail is fine.
Or, if you must call, follow up with an e-mail summarizing your call and include exact details -- date, time, snatch's name, snatch's precise snatchy words, etc.
I agree. Alwaysabridesmaidf, definitely send an email, and cc some other important museum people if you can find their email addresses. Words like "discrimination" and "breastfeeding" and "not family friendly" get people's attention. Something will be done if you put it in writing. A call can easily be forgotten about and brushed under the rug.
If you want, feel free to post the draft here before you send it.
Look, if I could take an unlimited amount of BM bottles and water for formula with me though security at the airport without them batting an eye, this place can bend the rules. I mean, you could leave, feed the baby, come back in and the baby could still projectile spit up on an exhibit. This is taking these rules too literally.
Was this Isabella Stewart Gardner museum? I have been spoken to every time I go there for doing something wrong. They are so rude and I've sworn off ever going back. That was my first thought when I read your post then I checked your profile and it said MA.
