About to meet a friend for a 5 mile trail run. Not sure why I agreed to meet so early when we talked about it earlier this week! I guess I should be glad it's 28 degrees right now and not colder?
I am lying in bed. I need to get up and go get my bagel then do 15 before the deluge starts. I'm never going to make it til the end of the game tonight.

I'm up. DH just went out to get breakfast and I'm lounging around. I have my 5k today but it's not until noon. I like these noon time races. I wish I could have slept later but grizzley woke us up wanting breakfast at 7:30 then chase started getting up and pacing because he could hear grizzley.
I'm up, not as early as I would have liked but holy SNOW. SO much snow already and it's barely getting started. Even the 1/3 mile walk to the gym will be an adventure. Start 10K training today!

I'm up! But it's 11:15 here, so I should be up The pup and I are about to go for a walk that will probably take us to the natural foods store (that name sounds dumb, but it's an accurate description) so I can get a few things. Then the plan is just to spend the day getting my life in order. H has been gone for 3 weeks and gets home tomorrow night (yay!), so I have some organizing to do both for that and just for my week in general. Sounds boring, but I really like that feeling of being ready for Monday, so it should be a nice, relaxed day.
Im' thinking about the beach halfathon 5k; are you doing the half?
Thanks!
I've no idea. I've got nothing on the books. No races sound appealing right now. I need to find something! Wish there was a half on my bday closer than Naples
I'm up, to take DS to a super bowl themed race! I usually do the 10k, but did a long trail run yesterday, so I'm just doing the kids' 1k with him, and giving MH some time off this morning. I like being up early for a race a lot better when I don't have to do my whole shower before I go!
Also, I was fine re: hunger yesterday, but so far today I am starving!
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
I just downloaded couch 2 5k. I haven't been running in months. It's time to start. I have a bike class today, but if I have time (we just moved on Thursday) I'll head out and run/walk in my new hood. I'm lol'ing at myself, "former ironman needs couch 2 5k to get her running body back!"

I'm getting ready to head up for a short run soon. It may be more speed walking, I'm not sure. I believe I ran a total of 5 miles in January, and haven't run at all in 3 weeks because when I didn't have terrible morning sickness, I was sick. I feel like my muscles are all turning to mush, so I can't wait to get out there.
I'm up. Sweet lord I'm sore. My hiiiiips. Anyhoo, drinking coffee, planning the week, watching snow fall. Later I need to go at least walk, although the goal is a few recovery miles. Youch.
We were up early for a group run. The route was short & my friend's hip tightened up, so we called it good enough at 10.5 miles. I hung with my friend to push her on her run & it was delightful. I felt bad because I was laughing & talking the whole way & she was hurting, but she hung in there.
For some reason that I cannot figure out, she has yet to break 1:50 for a half, but I dragged her for 10.5 @ 8:03. Her last three miles were 7:55, 7:53, and 7:42. Her final half mile was 7:30 pace. She didn't have her watch & I refused to give her numbers. LOL! She better break 1:50 at her half in two weeks!!

Ran a 4-mile race this morning (instant PR as I've never done a 4-mile race before). Then H and the kids met me for a delicious breakfast. Now I'm trying to work up the energy to shower. We went to a dinner party last night and were out until 1am. Zzzzzzz
I got up and watched the UCI Cyclocross Men's World Championship in Flemish (Watched the Women's World Championship feed in Polish yesterday). I got in a little over 2 hours on the road bike since the rain was coming in around lunchtime. It hit just as I pulled into my driveway. Good timing!
Eeeesh that was a tough run. I intentionally (stupidly?) planned 8 miles of speed work for the day before my long run, partly due to when my days off fell but mostly to start getting back in the habit of running on tired legs. Plus it was mid-70s and sunny. I kind of wanted to die for the last mile. That said, I'm happy with my paces!

If you can do it on tired legs, you will fly on fresh legs. Long speed work followed by a long run is no joke. Nicely done!!
