Resturant- our kids are younger- 3 & 6. So movies are still touch and go with the younger one. We have the little kid board games too. I think much depend on if there are kids, how old they are.
In our house, movie tickets or indoor playplace certificates. My kids are 3 & 5.
Funny, I said resturant because movies are touch and go with my 3 year old.
We have a local coffee shop that has a great kids play area, they also serve wine and beer.
I think everything varies on the kids ages and establishments around them.
That is funny because I would not take my 3 to a restaurant. They're not big eaters so it would be a waste. They'd be way too distracted to eat anything.
A GC to Target with suggestion to purchase a movie/game and snacks of their choice for a Family Fun Night. Thoughtful, but if that's not their thing, they can just buy groceries (which some would also really appreciate).
How nice of you! If we were tight on cash, what I'd really love would be a GC to some place that watches the kids while H and go do our own thing for a couple hours. For instance, there's a drop off gymnastics play time where we live.
