About to book Munich-Paris via europeandestinations and there's a 1hr. layover b/w Paris and Munich at Luxemburg Airport, flying via Luxair for both legs. Assuming that since Luxemburg isn't all that large, the airport is similarly smaller and entirely doable for this time, but since I always panic about something when I'm booking overseas travel for myself, this is what I've picked for my initial anxiety.
Here's the tentative itinerary for Munich (Sept 11-14:
Day One:
assume I've found hotel and left baggage by noon (Courtyard City East), plan to stumble around tired and cranky, eventually eat, see the Marienplatz.
Day Two:
viator tour(maybe) to Neuschwanstein castle, assuming all day.
Day Three
Dachau in the AM, wander around city center again in the afternoon/PM
Suggestions here? Any appreciated, thank you in advance.

Neuschwanstein is definitely a day trip. Be prepared for the walk up the hill; it's steep. You do have the option of taking a horse drawn carriage up. When I was there in 2006 they sold mugs of hot wine at the top, which I drank on the walk back down. There snow up there in early June, so make sure you bring appropriate clothing (not sure when you're going).
