You did. Look - I also prefer call-outs and blunt honesty. I wish there were more of them on this board. But if you guys can be honest about your feelings on House, why is it so bad for her to be honest about her opinions in OOTD?
I do not want blunt honesty in OOTD and FOTD threads, lol. I do think it's okay to give constructive criticism when someone actually asks for an opinion. I think most/many of us feel so comfortable posting pictures of ourselves because this board is pretty much always nice and sensitive with comments and suggestions. And I really like it like that That's not to say that we shouldn't call someone out on insensitive comments when they do happen.

I don't either.
I do, however, get a kick out of the, "oh um, well, your, er, blush - yeah blush, looks nice." Posts. ;D I get it, I look a hot mess, but I posted a picture! Thanks for giving me that credit/recognition.
ok, related question (but not directed at anyone, not trying to hint at anything) - do people want constructive criticism in OOTD or only if they ask in their post for it? Is OOTD a place where people give feedback + or -, or is it more "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything"?
ETA: and FTR I love fashion, but I work in a lab so y'all would get super board of my jeans and t-shirt PIPs, lol

LOL! 90% of the time there is complete silence regarding my outfits when I do OOTD. That in itself says enough - I don't need anyone pointing out that I suck at dressing myself, lol. However, it makes the other 10% when someone is actually like "cute dress!" so much more exciting, ha.

I'm okay with a suggestion, like, "Dawgs, that is such a cute dress! You might also try it with [insert whatever] - I think that would look great!" However, I'd rather someone not say, "Dawgs, I don't think those shoes look right with your dress. I would try [insert whatever] next time." Perhaps it's dumb because it's saying the same thing really, but the first is just nicer
That said, if I specifically ask if my shoes look right with my dress, it's totally fine to be like those are the fugliest shoes I've ever seen.
