I'm new.

Quick intro: I'm shanwalk. I'm 30 years old and DH is 32. We have a 2 year old dd that was conceived on the first cycle after three years of tta by charting/temping. We are now in our 11th cycle of ttc #2. I had CD3 bloodwork 2 months ago and everything looked great. DH is doing his SA next week (after I O) which I anticipate will be fine. After that, I am hoping for a referral to an RE to get the ball rolling. I cannot figure out what has changed since conception was so simple the first time around.

I've lurked and read the into post below. I was once a regular on the national boards when it was thenest, but I've stuck only to my local board the last 3-4 years. It's good to be "back" even with a different format.

I'll hopefully be jumping in soon with more questions!

Welcome! I know what you mean about not understanding why it's so much harder this time around. In my case I had IF the first time, but I got PG on my 2nd IUI and foolishly thought that would happen this time, too. Silly me. Hopefully once you meet with an RE you'll get some answers and get PG soon after. Good luck to you.

Hi and welcome! I'm in a similar boat, DS was easy to conceive, but this time it is inexplicably harder. We're at almost 18 months of trying with 6 IUIs and 1 IVF with just a CP to show for all of it. It's really frustrating and depressing at times. I hope the RE can give you some answers.

We have a dd who is 5 I carried her but developed HELLP syndrome at 30 weeks and had to deliver so I am not having another baby. My wife has been trying to get pregnant since 9/13. We did 7 unmedicated iui and nothing. We have done 3 ivf (1 fresh and 2 frozen cycles) with two chemical pregnancies and 1 miscarriage at 7 weeks. We are currently waiting for or next ivf cycle to start.

Welcome. I'm another who conceived without difficulty, only to find it impossible the second time around.  It's a mindfuck, for sure.
