I cannot stand when someone "at least-s" another person.  "You had a crappy date? Well at least you got a free meal out of the deal!" "Your XH took all your stuff? Well at least you still have a job to buy new stuff!" "Oh, your whole family died? Well at least your cat made it!"

Also, "you deserve it!" especially when talking about happiness.  Who doesn't deserve to be happy?

The recruiter who blew me off TWICE for a phone interview after I applied for a job with her firm. She scheduled them and then either didn't call, or EMAILED me to say she couldn't do it....15 minutes before the phone call.

When I emailed her to say please remove my name from consideration because I expect a more professional environment from a potential workplace, she emailed back a few minutes later with a bunch of excuses.

Like the newest one... I used to be able to upload a file and continue on immediately. Now I have to upload the file and wait 10 minutes before I can continue. Seriously. 10 minutes of waiting around for nothing.

I've been extra stabby this week so my list is long.

I called a store 4 times yesterday to see if they had the thing I needed and they never answered. Unless the building is on fire, you need to answer your phone.

People who think I am a magician not a seamstress. I can't redo your whole dress a week before the wedding.

People who have no reasonable expectations about how much a wedding dress should cost. You can't walk into a Toyota dealership and buy a brand new Camry for $7k. You also can't walk into a wedding dress store and buy an all lace + beading dress for $500.

This is a huge pet peeve of mine, however, it's a good thing at my job! If you're shoes aren't tied and you're dragging them around, it means you're not planning to fight!
