What's everyone up to this weekend?
It's snowing again, we ran out this morning to the stores real quick and got cold medicine and 2 Redbox movies (both with free codes, woohoo!) so we're set. I think I'm probably going to start on our taxes.

DH and I met 6 years ago today! Time sure does go by fast! So many great times, memories, and now we have our own little family!
So tired. It was a long night...C slept pretty good the first part but getting him to sleep took 3 1/2 hrs and the last couple hours he was up quite often. I decided to just wake up after his 5 am feeding so I could have some time to myself to recover from bedtime last night.
We might try to go to Starbucks after C's next feeding. We have gift cards plus I want to try their new coconut milk option. We also need to go stock up on chicken and the only store that has it on sale is next to Starbucks (which is on the other side of our town and we hardly go over that way).
We are supposed to have our first date night tonight. The place we were going to go to is right next to my mom's but DH found out last night that they don't start dinner until 5 pm...we are hesitant to be gone too late (bedtime is 6:30-7) because the last couple hours of the night are just really bad and we don't want to do that to my mom.
My H is mad at me this morning because we were supposed to return his rental car (he always has to rent a car when traveling for work), and I got my car stuck in the snow in the driveway . So I had to call a cab to pick him up at the rental place and bring him back home. He didn't really....shovel....the driveway well, it's more like 2/3 shoveled and you have to be Mario Andretti to maneuver my car around the wall of snow. Well, this morning I couldn't do it lol. So now it will cost $26 for a taxi and he's mad at me.
@moonbeam - Wait, so he is mad at you because he didn't shovel the driveway well enough for you to be able to safely get your car out? Oh, man logic. -headshake-

To be fair, he got the car out for me the other times. But this time he just got in the rental, and so I got in my car (the Taurus) and figured he wanted me to pull it out myself. I guess it was a miscommunication. I thought maybe I could do it, but...no. I should have known, I can barely drive forward, let alone in reverse.
The snow and ice is melting! We don't do snow especially for a whole week. I wish it wasn't going to be raining all day because it would be nice to get out of the house.
We were up at 4 am to feed DS which is normal. Put him back to bed, lights out, all of a sudden WHOOSH!! Well, crap. We totally forgot there is a hose bib on our master balcony and it froze. We have never used it and I'm not really sure why the previous owners put it out there because it is pointless (you're not going to drag plants/dirt upstairs and through the bedroom to have a garden and if you used a hose to rinse off the balcony, it would all drain into the garage below sooooo...why?) Anyway, run naked down two flights of stairs to kill the water at the main valve. Then we locate the secondary valve for the master addition, turn it off, restore water at main valve. So now we have 1) no water in our master and 2) no drainage because the drain stack is still frozen.
We've had ice/sleet since early this morning so we're stuck in the house. It's nasty outside.
luv2rn4fun DH and I had the 7th anniversary of our first date this week! Happy anniversary to you guys! (We sort of knew each other for 1.5 years prior to that because we worked together.)
@moonbeam I hate the way my H shovels the driveway, too. But I guess I can't complain too much because at least I don't have to shovel it?
Yeah, I figure I should be glad I don't have to do it. The only thing is, every year I keep saying "Let me get you a snowblower," and he's like "Nahhh I don't need one". But I think we do need one lol.
We went to go visit MIL and do lunch with her since FIL is oot for a few days. Her neighbor is about to list her house and we now have an unofficial showing tomorrow. Eep! Huge backyard for Moo and puppy #2, ranch with 4 and 2.25 baths. We passed on MILs neighborhood when we were looking five years ago but see some benefits this time around (she'll let the dogs out, free daycare, borrow tools, etc).

Happy Anniversary to you guys as well!
Sorry to hear about the bad weather and water issues That is a horrible way to start the day...hoping it has only been better since. ((hugs))

grover exactly how close would the house be to your MIL? I wouldn't want to live right by any of my relatives, it would feel too much like "Everybody Loves Raymond" lol

I feel you!!
Trying....trying to get DH to rest. He has some swelling. I've been resting with him today and going grocery shopping....in the rain.
