DS and I are going to visit my parents on Wednesday for a week. My mom and I are doing a scrapbooking weekend while I'm there. Looking forward to seeing them, DS especially is pumped.

I have a slow work focused week this week. H is traveling a couple days, so one night I plan to watch a terrible Lifetime movie and eat junk food. Kinda looking forward to that!
I'm looking forward to hopefully going out to see Seventh Son over the weekend and March starting! Yay for spring being...somewhat near. Also I'm expecting a wedding invitation to arrive in the mail. Two of my H's former coworkers, who were friends for years, finally got together and are now getting married.

jjwritergirl- Yay for date night! Hope you and your DH have a wonderful time together!
estrellita- Happy almost birthday! Baby E is the best birthday present! I'm sure you will have the best birthday ever even if you don't get to do anything (Christmas was similar for us as C was born 4 days before and we were home 2 days before)!
Looking forward to:
1. Hopefully seeing my mom tomorrow (if not we will hang out on Thurs) 2. C's appointment on Weds...curious to see how much he weighs now! Not looking forward to him getting shots 3. My aunt coming over on Friday, spending the day with C and I, and then DH and I going out for date night! 4. Hopefully seeing our mentors from our premarital class on Sat (we still haven't received confirmation that they are coming).
Friday off!! And a fun lunch date with H this weekend. And maybe booking our 10th anniversary cruise so I can start a countdown (it's still 17 months away!).
I went to the mall yesterday so that was pretty much the highlight of my week! I'm happy that the weather will be better this week. Last week we were stuck in the house every day because of snow.
spankswife why do they keep redoing it? Makes no sense to me! Hope you ultimately end up passing!
BC I keep failing the 1 hour draw of the 3 hour test, so she wants to monitor (it has been a month). She said if the same thing happens this time, and no other results go up, she will let it go. FX!

I feel like it's weird to keep doing the test but they're the doctors and I'm not, haha.
Lol, I'm an idiot and can't figure out my days. I don't know why I keep thinking my birthday is Sat because it's on Sun. I can't even blame it on sleep deprivation because I've thought this for a while. Oh well, it's this weekend

estrellita - I know. Whatever. It is just easier to ride the wave at this point. 31 weeks pregnant, working 65+ hrs/week - I don't have the strength to question it.

That's weird. In my experience, if you fail any one of the numbers for the 3 hr test, the doctor calls you GD and be done with it. It just seems like cruel and unusual punishment to repeat that over and over.
It's weird all around bc the cutoff for the 1 hr is 179, and mine was 171, and she thought that was "too close." So I didn't even really "fail" the first time. My second was 191 though.
I think bc my dad had bad diabetes, and I am over weight, she is being more cautious.
