I'M NOT READY FOR IT TO BE DONE! I keep reading Tweets and seeing articles and I am all teary.
There are 3 shows my H and I have watched together in their entirety: Lost, The Office, and Parks and Rec. That makes me soooooooooooo much sadder for some reason. It's like losing friends!
I think I'm about to get my period, so that's probably playing into this, too. LOL.
I have enjoyed this show, which is surprising, because otherwise, I don't care for Amy Poehler (flameful, I know).
I wish this season hadn't happened though. It just doesn't seem to go with the rest of the series at all.
Oh really? I have loved this season. I think it's cool to see the characters going off and doing their own thing, instead of in the same roles. I also think it was pretty clever of them to skip the pregnancy/first few years of her kids life and the fact that they are never seen just makes me laugh.

I wonder how they are going to wrap it all up!
I just find it so hard to believe that Leslie would ever leave Pawnee, that she would want to raise her family there, become mayor. She loves that town, it's been her thing for the entire series, and I just don't understand why she would ever leave. So maybe they will end it with Leslie becoming mayor...
I never heard the word "Ma'am." I can't remember exactly what was said, or what I heard, but my husband and I both thought the secret service guy was addressing Ben. So much so, that when she was giving her commencement address at IU and talking about the next step, I thought she was thinking, "First Lady" in her head. That since Ben declined the race for Governor, she was going to support him in the race for President.
I thought this season started out a bit slow but the finale made it all worthwhile. I'm going to miss this show and now the only comedy DH and I still watch is Modern Family. Hopefully NBC can find some good shows to fill the void.
Exactly! And Ben's career ambitions never included president, while Leslie stated her desire to be president OFTEN. Ben would not have taken that from her. Cause he is Ben!

I really loved Leslie and Ben's relationship during the show. No drama, just sweetness. Even in comedy series when couples get together, there always seems to be some sort of drama to "shake things up" (I'm looking at YOU, Pam and Jim) at the end. They were perfect together.

I'm late to this, but I partly blame NBC (from what I read). NBC has jerked this show around.
The writers and cast were told that last season would be their last season (and that it would be a shortened season). Then NBC told them, "Surprise! You get another season and a half."
Supposedly Leslie's wedding was supposed to be the series finale.
Some of the stuff is a little out of place, but I still loved it. I didn't finish watching the finale though, so I hope it's good!

I've loved this show and really loved this final half season. Yup, had a little dust in my eye during last night's finale ... I loved seeing where everyone winds up, and that they stay friends and stay connected, even as life takes them in different directions.
I just finished the finale, I am going to miss the Parks gang. The clips at the end made me wish I had that good of a time with the people I work with.
