I am thankful that I got to work at home for a few days during the awful Atlanta weather. I'm thankful that the weather wasn't worse, and that we didn't see that much snow.
I am thankful that I had a great night's sleep last night, and that I got to see the sun come up and birds sing during my morning run (even if it was 15 degrees out). I am thankful that we have friends who love our dog as much as we do, so that she can be in a home for 2.5 weeks this summer when we go on vacation. She will be turning 12 this year and I was dreading having to board her for that long of a time.
I'm thankful for a kid-free weekend. At least a toddler free weekend. The teen will be with us for half of it.
I'm thankful for my CF coaches pushing me to do the open. One posted a video of people that are doing it that have amputated limbs and such. Well dang, I have no excuse. Then another person posted a video of a blind man doing box jumps. His smile as after he landed one made me tear up.
I'm thankful for my mental health day tomorrow. DH is taking the car, and taking care of the daycare drop off/pick up. So I don't have to go anywhere or worry about the schedule, just veg out.
I am thankful that my hard work is paying off and I am now down 10.5#! It hasn't all fallen off at once, but I have seen a steady loss of 1-2# a week since eating clean. I am so glad I decided to change my eating habits!

I'm thankful that today is my Friday! I've been unusually sleepy this week, so I am looking forward to a relaxing day tomorrow, with lunch at my favorite place with a good friend.
I'm thankful that Saturday is my LAST long run of my training plan! It's not even the effort of the 20ish mile runs...I get so bored doing anything for 3+ hours! I'm looking forward to spend the spring/early summer just running for fun.

I'm thankful that the Y decided to open this afternoon after previously announcing they were closing all day. Our snow storm was a bust and the roads are fine. No reason for them to be closed.
I'm thankful for my life and all I have. Pure and simple. I listened to a lot of world news this morning while driving (and waiting in line with a trailer) and there are so many issues we just don't have to deal with. Constant war, dictatorial government, massive disease outbreaks, and famine among them. Sorry if that's heavy. I'm doing too much thinking this morning.
Congrats shauni27!! That is some awesome, steady progress. I also think you are beautiful at any size. You have such a killer smile.

How is your foot feeling??
No real improvement in general. BUT I am faithful with a 3x daily icing, rolling, stretching, heating routine so I am hoping that's helping. The good thing about this injury is that it's the worst when I am not running. Once I get a few miles in, I don't know what happens, but the pain isn't as bad. I ran 5 and 6 miles the last 2 nights and handled it OK.
I am thankful DH is loving his new job. The hours haven't quite worked out the way we had hoped, but it is easier to deal with knowing he is doing something meaningful and fulfilling. I'm also thankful he makes overtime, b/c my reaction would be a little different other wise.
I'm thankful we only got a little snow and it was easy to run in this morning.

I feel that way often, so thankful for the many things that we take for granted--clean water, no war in our streets, our health and access to top notch healthcare, etc. It is a great reminder of all that we have.
And thank you for your kind words. I have been struggling a lot lately with my looks (a lot to do with my weight) so it is so nice to hear that.
I'm thankful for fugitive llamas. This live feed has been keeping me & my office mate entertained. www.abc15.com/live
ETA: Okay, it was fun at first, now I'm annoyed with these chucklefucks who are trying to catch them. The llamas looked tired & stressed.
ETA2: They've been captured & they're safe! (I realize no one cares.) That's 45 min of my day I won't get back. LOL Which brings me to my next thankful. I'm tankful IT doesn't care what we do on our computers.

Thankful for the a mid-week "snow day" we were given off yesterday, but not actually getting snow or ice. I got to run errands yesterday, spend time with DH and the kids, and we got our taxes finished. Going into the weekend feeling somewhat caught up on things.
I am so damned thankful that I work where I work. I get to use an incredible world-class aquatic center for my swims, heated and glistening all year round, I get semi-private coaching for almost nothing, and I get to watch the diving team practice during those semi-private coaching sessions.
Yesterday I got to watch the sychronized divers practice during my rest periods. And many days, my lessons coincide with the platform divers leaping from 10 meters above the pool. I love watching them dive because it's so freaking cool.... and because the physique of competitive platform divers .
@mn06 - my sympathy to both of you and all your family. I liked because it's good to hear at least you worked through things & got some positives through the experience. Great memories I'm sure.
I am thankful that tomorrow is my last day at my current job (new job starts on Monday!) I am thankful that my DH is awesome and has been totally picking up my slack lately I am thankful for the doughnut vault.

I am super late to this. Today I am thankful that i think we finally found a vet we like here and at 1/2 the cost of other vets. I am thankful that military bases had vets on them that you can use for your pets. I am thankful that today we got double back what we expected from travel pay for our move. I am thankful for the amazing farmers market my town has on Thursdays, and that i can afford to buy fresh veggies from there. I am thankful that my husband could get time off to come to the vet appointment with me.
ETA: I am thankful for the improvements we see daily in our dog. I am thankful we have the ability to incur all the vet fees we have without a thought to get our dog better because a lot of people don't have the money to spend that we have spent in the past month and a half on him.
I'm thankful I realized Disneyland tickets have gone up, but I was still able to buy the old prices tonight because it kept me on budget for our family trip. Related: I'm thankful I got a character lunch reservation so we don't have to waste time in princess lines.
I'm thankful I have a treadmill (even if it's crappy) so I can just roll out of bed tomorrow morning and run instead of driving to the gym.
I'm thankful for a boss who listens to me and makes me feel respected and important.
