I just pulled up a blue color scale online, and he pointed to TEAL. So I do not trust his color judgement one bit if he thinks TEAL is medium-dark blue.
I'm sorry you're arguing, but this is cracking me up!

Okay, if you see white/gold turn your phone or monitor's brightness way down and zoom in so you can only see the dress, like a detail shot. Now can you see the black/blue? Weird!

I turned my brightness as low as it will go. Still white and gold

I saw white and gold every time. Then I squinted until my eyes were almost closed, let them unfocus for a few seconds, and slowly opened them all the way. It turned black and blue.
omg, H just said it was blue and black and called me a crack head for saying white and gold.
Mine even searched for various shades of blue in another tab to try and compare them to the dress to convince me it's blue. Nope. Still white and gold.
It was white and gold forever for me. I looked at it as I was walking up my stairs and I watched it turn from gold and white to blue and black to gold and white and again to blue and black.
There's something different about this picture, though.
Take any other picture and we would all agree that a dress is the same color...or at least close, depending on monitors. What I call blue and what someone else calls blue are the same, even if we see it differently in our minds. But we all agree to call it the same thing. You can't see a picture of a sweater once and think it's white & then check back and think it's royal blue...no matter what lighting, monitor calibration, etc.
I just saw white and gold so handed the laptop to H and as it got further away I saw black and blue. I thought I figured it out but it turned white and gold again before my eyes and H has only seen blue and black, far away or up close.
This is really bothering me. I am feeling very unsettled. My ability to see color when my husband cannot is THE ONE THING I AM BETTER AT THAN HIM. And now you fools are telling me that the dress is actually black and blue, when I have only seen gold and white.
This is clearly white and gold, but H is insisting it's blue and black. Are we all going to die in 7 days? Did we just inadvertently participate in The Ring?View Attachment
