I like it, not as anything where I'm going to put up an amazing score but as something where I *can* do all the parts but will be challenged by them (well, with the DLs just being grip, not weight). I can't do TTB in rhythm, I do one and then have to reset my kip, but considering that last year I only got TTB the week of 14.4 and managed 10 reps in total out of the 50 we were supposed to do, just getting through a couple rounds this year will be a victory for me! And I'm interested to see how it affects my C&J.
When are people doing it? I'm probably resting tomorrow because my back's effed up right now.

I'm doing it on Sunday afternoon. Considering I have a baby bump and I hate T2B to begin with, the first part will probably be laughable. I am likely going to "throw" it a bit for the sake of an attempted C&J PR. I'll probably do 2 nice slow rounds as my warm up, then rest and go for it. 6 minutes is not a lot of time for me to "max out"-I really like to rest-so I'm trying to plan for 3 attempts.
I'm just happy that we got a 1RM in the Open. I'm also happy that it came in WOD 1, so my belly is not much of an obstruction to my bar path yet. I've been training a lot of heavy olympic lifting lately, so I'll be happy with this workout with a lifting PR or close to it.
Yeah 6 min is so little time for a 1rm. I like to sneak up on my 1rm and go up pretty slowly. If I make too big of jumps I end up failing. I'm still pondering what I'll do and how many attempts I'll make.

This is my plan, if it's helpful at all:
Pre-Wod: shoulder mobility for ttb/snatch
Burgener Warm up/Drills with bar (for snatch and C&J) Warm up reps at 95, 135, 155, 175
Opening weight 185 (90% of 1RM) immediately after weight loaded (hopefully :30 mark) Second attempt at 200 lbs at 3:00 mark Third attempt (either 200 lb repeat or PR attempt 210+) at 5:15 mark
I am definitely not doing more than 3 attempts and that gives me 2 minutes of rest between attempts, or so.
I'll be doing mine on Monday. I was peer pressured into signing up. I fell for it!! I am going to do the T2B scaled. I could do like one then I'm done! I need to work on it. I bought grips but not sure if I'll use them.
