I don't think we had a health and fitness check in this week and we need more active threads going, so here I am. lol.
I saw a treadmill for sale for $100 on the local facebook garage sale group, so I made a spur of the moment decision and bought it. Now I have to clear a spot in my house so that I can actually set it up and use it.
I've also been doing pretty well on my diet. I went over a bit on my fat allowance yesterday and I definitely paid for it, but I'm taking it as a learning experience and working on paying better attention throughout the day instead of waiting until the end of the day to look at my nutrition balances.
How is everyone else doing health and fitness wise?

I'm jealous! I would love a treadmill (have always wanted one...but will likely not get one because we somehow don't have the space in a 5 bedroom house- not sure how that's possible). That's so exciting!
I'm doing ok, weight wise. I still haven't run and have been eating a lot (just because I'm hungry all the time). Got on the scale yesterday and I'm down another couple pounds and within 4.5 of my pre-pg weight. I was actually going to run yesterday but figured I couldn't afford to burn the calories/lose weight and opted for a day of relaxing with mom and C and eating a ton of food. I'll have to go weigh myself and see what the damage is.
Also, my stroller keeps getting flat tires...so frustrating because it's really the only way I can run. The latest flat is a very slow leak so I can probably fill it with air and go run with C but I'm afraid of the what ifs on getting stuck, especially when DH is at work (not sure how we would get home). DH mentioned getting thicker tubes this weekend so hopefully he does and he resolves the problem (it's also our only stroller so it would be nice to have for other things besides running).
I am also jealous of your treadmill purchase! DH was researching them earlier this week, but determined they are too heavy and he doesn't want to deal with it. Um, it's going in the basement to never be moved again - I'm sure we can get someone to deliver it! Hopefully I can change his mind.

ewall- You guys NEED a treadmill...you both run and now that you have DS it will make your lives so much easier! Good luck convincing him...maybe it will take him missing a couple runs to get the picture
Buying an elliptical for our house was the best purchase I have ever made! I can get my cardio in from home and save time from traveling to the gym. Absolutely love that thing. Plus, it's a great stress relief. I'm all for home cardio machines! LOL
I love my treadmill! Best purchase ever! I'm not really a runner but I try.
I'm doing pretty well this week. My doctor started me on anti-depressants last week and I am mentally feeling better. I am eating less and getting my workouts in.
I was doing really well with my eating but this morning I realized I needed to eat up the strawberries that were in the fridge. I didn't want them by themselves so I cut them up and put them on icecream. :/ I my defense it was more of a night time snack as I worked the night shift last night.

Yay! I love having equipment at home. I have an elliptical and an exercise bike but I don't have room for them in our apt now so they are in storage at my parents' house...I think I'm going to sell them
