In my limited (8 month) experience as a mom of two, I've noticed that Calvin has been much quieter than Theo was at C's age. I think it's because T dominates the room (verbally and physically) and C just watches instead of interacting/babbling. I'm not sure if it's a personality thing or if C just gets overwhelmed watching T whirl around the room. I'm wondering if other parents of 2+ kids noticed the same thing. The older kid(s) will take over and the younger kids just observe.

Micah is the oldest and quietest. Eli and Lexi compete for who can be the loudest. It's kind of the same with me and my brothers. I think it's more of a personality thing.
I'm the younger sibling and I guess for my first few years I was pretty quiet because my sister "talked" for me. Then I busted out and became obnoxiously loud and outgoing. Which I continue to this day.
Well it is still early but Rory is SO vocal, esp compared to A. He is babbling and growling, cracks me up. I don't think A was babbling yet at this age. I'm interested to see when R talks.
