Tell me about your yummy Friday night dinners!
It's Lent for us, so we're having butternut squash and Apple soup with grilled cheese (sharp cheddar for us, American for the kids, on Rosemary garlic bread).
Rotini casserole. Caleb even helped cook! He sat on the counter, stirred the pan and "cut" the meat and veggies--meaning I gave him a small chunk and a table knife while I cut everything else.
Oh yeah. Lent. Haha. Lax Catholic, party of one. We went to Salsaritas,followed by Froyo. It was delicious. H has a drum competition tomorrow so it's just us girls tomorrow.. Sigh

I really want pizza, but we are going out to eat with my family tomorrow, so that would be not very health conscious. I might make BBQ chicken nachos, which would only be slightly more healthy than pizza.
Choice of lasagne rolls, tuna casserole, or cheesy grits. I *might* go so far as to scramble an egg to go with the grits. Otherwise, microwave button pushing FTW!
I had burrito bowls in the menu but we have been working all afternoon on L & E's new rooms. H said we should splurge and get Five Guys after the kids are asleep. L is eating the slowest ever and I wish he would hurry!
