Specifically, why is my hair so much softer at the salon than at home? I have curly hair but I can get a good blow out with a round brush but I don't use products. Anyone care to share their product recommendations?
I've also noticed my stylist uses a lower temperature when she does my blowouts. The result is so much softer and shinier than the high temp seeing I use at home. It already takes a while for my hair to dry; I just don't have the time to do that at home.
I use a Sedu Revolution blow dryer. I let my hair air dry while I'm doing my makeup. Then I spray Kenra Blow Dry spray all over my hair and section/pin my hair up in about 5 different sections. I take one section down and dry it with a large round brush; I make to to ensure the section is completely dry before starting on the next section. This process takes me about 22-25 minutes for my long hair.
Then after my hair is dry I section it up again in 5 sections, spray each section with AG Firewall and then either do a flat iron or 1.25" Hot Tools curling iron through it. Then I finish it off with Suave flexible hairspray. My hair routine take about 40 minutes, hence why I only wash and dry it 2x per week.
