Gym is closed this morning and we might get freezing rain later, so gym is likely out. W/Th I alternated running/walking for an hour. I have two Jillian michaels videos, but I hate her workouts. I might do lifting. I really want to run, though.
I am happy to have ended Ds swim lessons for now. That will give me more time to work out.

Going for a run with some friends at noon today. It's an absolutely gorgeous day here so no excuse not to get out.
Tomorrow I'm running with both kids in their first 5k. We're doing it with 4 of their friends and their moms (who are also my friends). Looking forward to it, except for the fact that the race starts at 6:45am and H and I are going out to a 40th birthday party tonight. ?
I've been taking a 7:30 am class at my gym on sat mornings and today kicked my ass. Sooooo many squats with weight presses. I can't lift my arms... Or my legs.

Anyone interested in doing regular exercise posts to share ideas?
DH and I start our weight loss challenge Monday. His office does a biggest loser for eight weeks and he's participating (last year he won losing 30 lbs, but due to the move, new baby, etc he's gained about 20 back). I need to still lose 20 lbs of baby weight.
We are having a mini challenge at home to support each other based on weight lost percentages. Winner picks dinner location for our anniversary.
I used to love going to the gym, but haven't joined one yet in new area due to cold/flu season with baby's age. Hoping to join in April. The weather's been super cold here too lately so my outdoor activities have been poor.
I'm going to try some videos during nap time or maybe I can get my 2.5 year old to work out with me!
I would love to be held accountable and get some new idea/tips.

DH is at the gym now, when he gets back it'll be my turn to work out. I'm going to run on the treadmill in the basement, maybe 3-4 mi. Hopefully run again tomorrow too.
I'm doing a 5k in a month with my sisters and going to take my DDs in the double bob. Since I've been running on the treadmill all winter, I imagine adding in the stroller will make it a lot harder.
Once DD2 hits 3 mos I can drop her off at gym childcare
I would do regular exercise posts to stay accountable. Plus I like talking about it, but I feel like not enough to fit in on h&f. Today I went to bootcamp and tomorrow I will hopefully go to a weight lifting class
I have this sinus issue that has been driving me nuts the past week. I wanted to go to pilates this morning, but I feel like I should rest. Come hell or highwater I'm going to do a short run tomorrow morning (3.5 mi or so) so I don't feel like a total slug. If I go early enough I might be able to go to another pilates class tomorrow after my run.
This is why my illnesses stick around so long. I don't know how to rest or take it easy. Bah.

Just finished a run at the gym! I was slower than usual today because the TV was broken and my Kindle's battery died so I had nothing to distract me from my pain and suffering. Probably won't run again until Monday.

Pure barre this am followed by 45 min of yoga. So far I logged 15 miles of walking with my youngest this week and four barre classes. I had been averaging 20 miles a week, but it was raining here a bit. Looking forward to bumping it back up this week!

Didn't get to the gym this morning because M lost his mind last night so wasn't up and out in time but plan to do a 20 min Hiit workout and 30 mins on the elliptical when he goes for his nap in 10 minutes.
Tomorrow is running and lifting.
I would totally be up for exercise/accountability posts.
I ran 2 miles and focused on lower body strength exercises. I need to get upper body and a little more core/abs in at some point. Hopefully warmer temperatures will help my motivation for March b/c I'm feeling a little burnt out lately.
I swam two miles this morning. I'm pretty pleased considering I haven't been in a pool in about a year and a half. Tomorrow I plan to do the bike and treadmill at the gym. I'm feeling better about the triathlon already.
I would love a regular fitness check in. I'm much better with accountability.
I don't normally go to the gym on the weekends but we have a treadmill and I'm trying to get back to it with running. My goal is 3 miles later this afternoon.
went to the gym in the snow and ice this morning...probably not the best decision, but H was driving! Been getting my fitbit goal of 10500 and beyond every day this week.
40 minutes on the elliptical while I wore DS in the carrier. He loves it and falls right asleep. Tomorrow I will either do elliptical again, or if DS will let me I might do weights or a video (all at home).

I use to do that all the time with M. He would cry if you didn't keep moving so I was like f- that I might as well get a workout in.

Went to the gym today. Did 40 minutes on the elliptical (doing a cardio circuit, so 5 minutes cardio then 10 reps) and 10 minutes on the hand bike. Yoga tomorrow I think.

Yep, DS will cry if I try and sit down if he's awake while I'm holding him. I only wish I had figured this out sooner! I had been killing myself trying to figure out how to fit in workouts in the few minutes a day he was content not being held.

With all the crazy work stuff going on right now, unfortunately working out is the last thing on my list. I'm hoping once I get the job or get back into a routine at my current job, I'll get back to the gym. I'm trying to avoid stressing about it too much and trying to eat well.
