Does anyone know a good place to get a nice skirt slip with a control top? Does anyone even make those? I got a really cute skirt but it's see through. If I'm going to be all old lady and wear an actual slip, I want it to flatten my fucking baby belly. Is that available?
All of the department stores should have them. I don't have any recs, unfortunately.
I like Skimmies, but they don't have the control factor you're looking for.

Congrats orangeblossom! You will ace this program! wawa you poor thing. Hope DH is better soon. It is like your house has been hit with the plague. @ sbp could you find something like that at JCPenny or Kohl's they seem to have slips and the like. GL
Today has been glorious. My husband worked and the kids are at my cousins for the weekend! My day has involved cheetos and crap tv. I am so content. DH is on his way home and he is grabbing me jerk chicken. I just want time to stand still
Some old just shoved me out of the way at a counter so she could buy the most ugly ass clock ever. And she paid the $30.22 by putting $30 on her debit card, and paid the $.22.
All I could think of was IIOY and the seething rage she'd be having.

We're entertaining a friend and her DD today. Her DH was supposed to come but he's 'sick'. Her DD is a bossy and manipulative girl. I don't like her to play with my DD because there is a 4 year difference and she just wants to play with the big kids and will do whatever this girl wants. What makes it worse is that our friends are DD's godparents. It seemed like a good idea at the time...
We were able to leave the house this morning by 7 and made it to our first destination. DH took his CDL test and now we're headed to the hotel. So far, no major hiccups. The dogs are doing well in the car and P is too.

@helenabonhamcarter How bad would you have killed me? I brought 7 Chinese nationals to CB today at 12:15. Sunday at CB is hellish enough, but add a giant fucking party who aren't native English speakers and shit gets real. Turkey bacon, sawmill gravy, syrup, "fixins"...these are not things the Chinese know of. Lunch took 3 hours, btw.
I watched that 2 shows ago! Roswell was in between them.
You've seen Angel and Buffy, right? Have you seen Cabin in the Woods?
Definitely watched both shows. Cabin in the Woods is saved on one of my lists. I may need to watch that when MH is home though. I'm becoming a wuss in my old age!

How well did you tip and did your server have to explain dumplings?
I have no idea how to explain dumplings btw. They are food. You put them in your mouth. I don't eat them. There's chicken involved. lol
And 7 ain't that serious. Now if you'd brought in 20, there would be some heavy sighs in the back of house.

The tip said "I'm deeply sorry" lol. They didn't ask about dumplings, but they probably would have been surprised to see what they are. They loved the crack pancakes, obviously.
