I make more. If he gets his max bonus, we're within 5% of each other. With just base, I make more by about 20%. We don't have kids yet, but will in four weeks and my answer will remain the same at that point.
My income is variable, so it depends. For 2014, my income was within $2000 of his base salary, but he also gets good benefits, a 401(k) match, and a sizeable bonus, while I get none of that. But then again, he works full-time, and I average about 20 hours a week.
Me, by like $3k (we constantly keep one upping eachother lol). Although he carries our benefits and gets a bigger bonus, so it might actually be dh, but gross salary wise, I make more. We have an almost 5 year old and I have two teenage step kids

I started out at double his salary (I have a PhD, he has a BA), but it's gone back and forth over the past few years. One kid. I picked me because I think that's where it's at right now, although when he finds out his salary after promotion plus bonus it probably won't be.
DH earns more. We were always about the same until I put myself on the mommy track then became a SAHM. Now that I'm back working he makes quite a bit more than me.

DH's base salary is almost double mine and with bonuses, significantly over. We have one child and will likely TTC again in the next 6 months.
I have basically let him lap me though on purpose. He works incredibly hard and long hours. It wasn't feasible for us to both maintain that type of schedule and demand. Knowing that his earning potential is more than mine, we decided he would be the one to have the more demanding job while mine is more flexible.

I SAH but H always earned more. In fact, his stipend as a doctoral student was higher than any salary I've ever had. His earning potential was always significantly higher than mine (he's a chemical engineer with a PhD, I have a BA in History and most of my experience was working in museums).
