So cute! I didn't notice the shadows at first- I thought it was just a double pigtail.
Depending on your editing program, you should be able to carefully lighten the shadows some. If you want to post the full size file I can take a whack at it tonight (which is probably your middle of the night/early morning).
I can't handle this!!! She is so, so beautiful and I adore her pigtails! I seriously cannot believe she is 11 months. How is this really happening?!?! She's amazing, Trudy!
love it! You should learn to shoot without a flash, get a diffuser for your flash, and/or get an external flash and learn to bounce the light to prevent shadows in the future.
yeah, pretty much this. you could shop it but it takes a while and it's kind of a pain in the ass :/ the external flash is definitely a good idea. you could bounce off the ceiling or another wall and you can avoid shadows that way. you can also get a very diffuser for it. i have an awesome thingy (i have a couple different versions of them, actually) that is bendable that you can put on your flash and bounce off of no matter where you are (even if you are outside/at venues w/o a nearby ceiling) - i used it a lot when i shot weddings.
cute pics though! i dont think it totally ruins them.
