As if having 4 adults using one bathroom couldn't get worse, H managed to cut off power to our one working bathroom and the guest room that our ILs are staying in. He was replacing power sockets in J's room With childproof ones and somehow ended the circuit. More wine please.
Oh that sucks lulu21! My DH tends to have home improvement projects spiral too.
He kept me company in our unfinished basement while I ran on the treadmill a bit ago and spent the whole time plotting out how he's going to finish it. This, from the man that took THREE YEARS to redo a bathroom in our old house. My biggest stipulation is that all the painting of the areas of the house we actually use gets completed first. And he hates painting so I think that'll buy me some time. Also, once the weather breaks he'll be outside. Come on spring!

DH was at a beer festival all day. It was outside so they had bonfires. He smiles like bonfires and beer and it's totally grossing me out. He gets to sleep in the guest room tonight, I am sure he will snore like a freight train tonight.
Today was a really nice day. C and I went to CFA for breakfast and the play place, then hung out a bit and had lunch, then we both napped while P did and played in the snow and had hot chocolate. Minor tantrums only and P has been pretty chill and sleepy. Much better than the shitshow that was last weekend.

H surprised us at swimming lessons and then went to the store with us. I loved it. Then we had so much fun at a brewery with our friends. DS found a balloon and was being so cute, several strangers stopped by to talk to him and tell him how handsome he was. #bragging
I am so sick. I feel like I've been hit by a bus. My body aches and my stomach is rolling.
H is next to me ordering a pizza on line. I have told him no less than 4 times to quit even talking about food next to me. Gag.
Also, earlier today he said "whoa, your belly button is pushed out more today even than yesterday!" Yes, I know. I was just the one telling you that this baby is out of room and needs to come out!
I am almost 36 weeks pregnant. Everything makes me bitchy at this point.
Since starting potty training DD a few weeks ago, we've been talking a lot about peeing and pooping in our house.
Tonight, DS announced that his "penis water out came out of my tummy and went in the potty."
I liked that because we are also doing potty training.. The things I didn't think I would ever hear or say!! Today DS peed in his little potty, but 'it jumped out'!
Mom texted me to ask if we are healthy this weekend. I am not answering until Sunday night. I will not jinx it. Someone has been sick every weekend since mid January. DS was up at 6 am doing laps around the house. I am so tired. He also only took 1 nap. Please sleep in tomorrow!

DS1 went to Whole Foods with me and got chocolate milk to drink from the cafe. He was so well behaved and said thank you to both the cafe and check out clerks. He was also so fun helping me shop. Asking for grapes and other fruits. When we left it was dark and he exclaimed 'it's dark mommy! See the stars!' Love!
If ever I needed a night for DS to STTN this is it. My H is sleeping on the couch because he cannot stop puking. The guest bedroom is right by the nursery so he's too loud to sleep there.
My cold is kicking my ass. I took a Benedryl and am hoping for a little relief. My stomach is quesy now too. DS was over this stomach bug in less than 24 hours so I'm hoping it is as fast moving through the adults.
DD learned how to bite stuff today. She was biting those cheese puffs from Gerber. Within two weeks she got her first 3 teeth and is trying to catch up to the other 14 month olds!
I always get shit for leaving family functions early on weekends bc of C's bedtime.
I decided to see how long she'd last tonight. At 7:45 (bedtime is at 7) she went to my brother's stairs and screamed "NIGH NIGHHHHHH!!" And tried to climb them.
So we promptly left. I really needed that parenting win today, lol.
Last night at youngest SIL middle SIL said the word bedtime. Her 18 month old ran to the fridge saying milk. She thought it was time to start the bedtime routine at her aunts house. Toddlers these days have no idea how to party
omg I am having major chocolate cravings. Regretting giving those chocolate raspberry brownies to @kcpokergal yesterday....should have kept for myself, lol. Fortunately I have more of the mix and more raspberries, maybe I will make a batch for us.

I had no idea they were coming either--you totally could have gotten away with it;)
I don't want to talk about how many cookies I have eaten in the last week
Thank god we sold most of the extras to drunk people at SILs last night.
Speaking of which--you don't have any Tagalongs do you? My friend is wanting some and missed ordering.
She's out. I know because I begged pugz to text her and ask what was left to bring to our lunch date this week. As of yesterday it was just shortbread and lemonades left!
Dd is on night four of SCREAMFEST instead of peaceful bedtime. H and I are letting her CIO at the door since she keeps climbing out of bed; (she's had ibuprofen and is otherwise safe). I feel awful about this and want to hide under the covers.
so our 10 year anniversary is in June of 2016. Since it's now looking like we most likely will be having a 2016 baby (this next month is our last chance for 2015) I'm now considering trying to combine our 10 year trip with a babymoon this fall. No shame in celebrating early right?
