My 6 month old who previously slept 10-12 hours straight is now waking and screaming every hour or so. She cut two teeth and just got over a virus, but she's still sleeping like shit and its getting worse instead of better.
She will now only sleep soundly in my arms. That's it. I can maybe get 20 minutes out of her in the swing during the day. At night she'll go for an hour only if she's in the rock n play, which shes way too big for. She wakes up in the pack and play right away. It's amazing though, she'll be screaming and crying but the minute- the SECOND- I pick her up, she's snoring. Straight into a deep sleep. It's actually impressive.
It may not be a long term solution, but you may be able to get a night or two of sleep.
She will sleep in our bed, but I can't fall asleep with her in there. I get too anxious about the pillows, blankets, her rolling, etc. I might do that for a bit though just to get some quiet.

I hope you guys can find a solution soon, those sleepless nights are the worst.

Babies just don't make any damn sense. Oh, you're crying because you're tired? Then GO TO SLEEP! How hard is that? I mean, k get it it, she's only been here half a year. But half that time has been spent sleeping. Kid should be an expert by now.
