Dreams and Other Monday Randoms

Why is it that you get those  little mini crushes on people you dream about sometimes?

I dreamt I was paired with a guy from high school that I've never found attractive to work on a project. Haven't seen him in like 15 years, haven't talked with him other than 'liking' stuff on FB. It just seems so random to have him dream-touch my arm and wake up thinking "I could make that work". Because no.

I had a dream Jay cheated on me. I knew and I was pissed and trying to decide what to do. He wouldn't tell me who it was and I couldn't communicate what I wanted to say. So we conversed about it via email. My mom made a comment about our relationship and I replied, :Yeah, well, I'm contemplating divorce. Luckily I didn't wake up feeling sad or in a funk, which a dream like that could easily do.

I had a dream about a HS friend this weekend too. He probably would have dated me if I had shown any interest (dude was obsessed with my ass). I don't really remember the premise of the dream, but I think it was just me wondering about how he's doing. He was valedictorian of our class, but I think college was a bit of a reality check for him because high school was so easy. Everyone assumed he would do great things, but I think he's just getting along like the rest of us.

I have a girl that I manage and she is a year older than me. She was telling me that she left her oven on for over 24 hours over the weekend and didn't even realize it! Then she proceeded to tell me that it smelled "gassy" but she didn't know why.

My best friend did this to me. I went by his house to walk his dog (because he was going to be out of the house for 16+ hours), and I walked in, and it reeked of gas. My first thought was that there was a problem with the heat, but that seemed fine. Then I walked over to the over, and he had 2 burners lit. :/ I turned them off, opened the door to the deck, and sent him a text. To which he responded, "we thought it smelled a little weird, but couldn't figure out why...so thanks!" Ummm... yeah. This was 8 months ago. He is smart most of the time, but man, he has some pretty out there moments.
