I don't pay annual fees. We don't travel via airplane and there are not much extras that fee cards would have that the no fee credit cards don't have that would matter much to me. My main card has various shopping and travel benefits that are no cost such as extra warranties, 60 day price guarantee.

I just did for the first time. $99 but I'm getting 50,000 bonus miles. Those points will buy airfare for dh and I to go on a trip this summer, airfare for a trip I'm going on in the fall, and possibly another trip for DH too. Totally worth it.
Only for one that is $75/year, but it makes way more than that in cash back (6% on groceries). It still makes more sense for that category than the doublecash card, which I use for everything else.
Yes, for the Delta Amex. I think it's been said but the companion airline certificate alone is worth more than the fee. To me, it's worth it.
This is one of the best ones out there imo. You get free luggage fees both ways for yourself and your entire party.
We have one - Marriott. They give us free hotel stay for up to level 5 I believe, which is more or less a $150-$200 value in exchange for a $85\year annual fee.
I pay a $49 fee for a Flex Perks card. We end up with several free flights per year so it's worth it to me.
Ditto
I'm glad to hear this. With all the talk of jumping around and/or calling and demanding waivers, I was starting to think I might be a sucker for just pay it every year.
Also, I pay cash. I'm not wasting 3500 points on the fee!

Ditto again.
I don't have the energy to jump around & research. I love FP, it's linked to our primary bank, and we rack up so many points & flights.

To continue the tag team, we haven't even mentioned the great feature of being able to loan points to friends!
Alaska Airlines Visa for the companion fare. The annual fee is $75, but the cash-back benefits are decent and the $99 round-trip companion fare automatically makes it at least a break-even as long as I use it toward a fare that would be $175+ (which is pretty much anything, these days). Plus they're often running a free checked bag promo for cardholders.
I also pay the fee for my Chase Sapphire Preferred, but I'm going to review that account before it comes up for renewal again. The fee is $150 and I'm not convinced it gets me much more than other cards.
