I feel really bad for Chris because he really made very rational decisions in picking the 2 ladies that fit his ideal wife. But I don't think either one will last. Becca is inexperienced and young, and Whitney is just eager to please, but her career (or lack thereof once she moves to Iowa) will be a problem.
--WHY did they give Britt so much sympathetic air time? She showed her true colors at the end of her time on the show, and this was an interesting attempt at recovery. I didn't buy it, Britt, no I did not!
My take was they are trying to see if the audience "bought it" to see if they can make her Bach. I have a strong feeling she will be either on Bach in Paradise - which she'd be perfect for - or, if she could have recovered, I am sure they wanted her to be The Bachelorette.
--I thought farmer Chris handled it all very well. I actually believe he is sincere with what he says. I loved it when he said "it's my first time being the bachelor…I didn't handle everything right…" or something like that.
LOVED this too! He was so sincere.
--I don't think he is still with whoever he picks--he just seemed…single tonight somehow. and Chris didn't ask "are you in love?" like he sometimes does…
RIGHT!?!?!? Usually there's a little bit about that, but it IS usually at the end, and maybe they were running short, so they worked to get the Harrison book plug in???
I also like how they are making things a little more "behind the scenes" than usual - showing the ladies in their dressing room, the chat between Chris and Britt after they "cut to commercial" - makes it feel a little more real since you know it's all staged.
