I read Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon and Marriage Game by Alison Weir.
Both are good. I was surprised by how hard of a read DoA was. I remember breezing through the first 3 books. But this one was different. Marriage Game was good, if you enjoy historical fiction. You have to read Lady Elizabeth first though since she references some events that happened in that book.
China Dolls, Lisa See - 4* The Invention of Wings, Sure Monk Kidd - 4* The Summer Garden (The Bronze Horseman #3), Paullina Simons - 3*
The first two I finished were good. The last one got on my nerves but halfway through it got better and I didn't mind reading it as much. Nothing spectacular in Feb though.
Red Rising 4 Unbroken 5 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (reread) 5 I Am Pilgrim 4.5
I enjoyed everything I read this month. Red Rising started slow for me but I ended up liking it and am reading the sequel right now. Both I Am Pilgrim and Unbroken were page turners that I couldn't put down.
Anastasia Krupnik by Lois Lowry. I loved this as a kid, and it all came back to me. **** Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. *** Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by JK Rowling. ***** Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by JK Rowling. **** (This has long been my least favorite book in the series, but I liked it a lot better this time.)

Good lord, chica!! Where do you find the time?!? Or are you a speed reader? Can you teach me your ways? I'm at 8 for the year, and you have 10 in a month. A SHORT month, no less!
Unbroken, Laura Hillenbrand - 4* The Glassblower, Petra Durst-Benning (kindle first) - 3* Personal, Lee Child - 3* The Reinterators, Will Weisser - 3*
MrsAxilla I read for an hour or two each evening, and I do read fairly quickly. We don't watch much TV, so evenings are quiet around here.
ETA there used to be several long-list posters here each month, and I'm not sure where they went. (Probably off reading somewhere.)
Yeah, not buying it - lol. I always thought I read fast, but now I'm not so sure. My goal for the year is one a week and I didn't come anywhere where close to that last year.
