Haha, this is how I found out that one of my friends is REALLY into Korean soap operas! She's in all of these clubs called "K-Drama" and all of her posts show up on my feed
The "beyond the whiteboard" posts about people's Crossfit workouts Drive. Me. Batty (or, straight to the ice cream). I don't care how many tires you flipped or cars you pulled!

Peoples inability to RSVP is seriously annoying me today! And half of those that did, called either the guest of honor or co-host instead of the contact listed on the damn PAPER INVITATION!!!
I hate that about FB, too! It seems really backwards to me, but the only way for others to not see your likes/comments is for THEM to go through their friends list (individually, I think!) & select '"see less" or de-select certain things that you don't want to see from a specific person. I don't think there's a local way to be on the receiving end, and I don't think there's any way to keep others from seeing what you've been doing. It sucks.
This does not apply to private groups. I'm in a Breastfeeding group, and none of that comes up on my wall or any non-group member, thankfully.
I think in the top right corner of the post, event, etc, you can set restrictions on who can/cannot see it. I've done this to a lot of my pictures, posts, etc so that certain people (ILs) can't see it. And I created a group for just them since I block them from so much lol.
