How do I earn starbucks stars

I need 7 more this month to make gold.  Is it every drink you buy or dollar you spend

It's every transaction. When I buy multiple drinks i make them charge me separately for each one.

Or you can buy bags of coffee, which have stickers on that front, to get stars.

There's usually a bonus star promotion going on too, like an extra star or two on espresso drinks or a bunch for buying a drink, a breakfast sandwich and a baked good.

There is nothing on google about this. I would be surprised if this were the case but nothing documented on starbucks about it.

I could have sworn I read something about it when I got my card. Hhhmmmm.

Im going to start doing this I always buy two drinks one for me and one for the DH

I think I was mixed up. Those codes you get in packaged coffee, Etc, you can only earn 2 of those per day.

Yeah, it's per transaction.

I always feel like a jerk though if there is a huge ass line and I make them ring me up 5 separate times lol (we usually buy two drinks plus 2-3 bakery items if we go there for breakfast). Sometimes, I'll just have them split it in two transactions, which gets me one extra star and not as much time.

Every so many stars, you get a free drink/item. I don't know how many stars it is--I have the app on my phone which tracks it, and I just check it every so often to see if I have a free item coming up. They also send me emails when I have a free item.

There may be other perks too, but that is the one I'm aware of/use the most.

I think that those 'specials' are for those who have gold cards already. It's 4 stars for a tea specialty drink purchased after 2 pm right now.

Weird about the two stars/day thing. I never read my terms, but it know I just got 4 stars this morning. (2 transactions). I'm already a gold member.

I think the only limit on stars per day is that it only lets you add two star codes from packages you purchase. I hold my star codes until there's a promo of bonus stars for packaged coffee.
