We tried putting E to bed at 9 and he would not go down until midnight. Ugh. We thought we would try that because he fought us last night. I didn't think he'd fight us so much again! So this is wake up one then I guess. H has to work but he's nice and is feeding E while I pump so we can both go back to bed faster! Speaking of pumping, last session seemed to go well but right now one side has done nothing. Grr. Just when I thought things were improving..

Wake-up #4, feeding #2. I tried to get DH to help with wake-up 3 but he was totally useless and just made everything worse and kept me awake. So tired.
DS1 woke up freaking out because the smoke alarm was chirping (low battery). In his sleepy haze he thought it was real. Poor kid. DS3 is up because he was facing the wrong way in his bed and was too groggy to figure out how to turn himself around. He now thinks it's time to get up. Uh, no. Our kids are too old for MOTN wake-ups. But 'hi' MOTN moms.

Big output middle of the night pump seems pretty average. I'm discouraged. I can't stay ahead of this hungry all the time baby. I need to get cool with formula and stop feeling so guilty. I never expected to be this hard on myself.
G did awesome with first wake up. Went down at 10:30 and b slept til 2. She seems to do good that first time then after that every hour she gets up. Oh well, 5:15 and up for the day. That is much better then normal.
Baby had a rough night. I think it was gas and teething. Woke at midnight...dh took the first shift. I took the second shift. Finally got her sleeping at 2:30 ish.
((hugs)) Blue Moon. You aren't doing anything wrong. Baby B is so lucky to have you as her mom- you are doing a great job. Sorry she has been such a rough sleeper for you and your DH.
Wakeup #2. The sleep was nice while it lasted. I don't think C is eating enough during the day and is waking up hungry tonight. I feed every 2 hrs but have from the get go...I need to somehow lengthen his feeds so he's consuming more per session. Definitely going through a skinny phase and he can't afford to not be gaining weight like he was.
Another awful night. I feel like I'm the only one with an older baby (6+ months) who doesn't sleep. I wish I knew what I was doing wrong
Hugs. DS1 was a terrible sleeper for a very long time. People in real life (without current babies) always made me feel like that was crazy. But, I know from here that I was not alone. Some babies just aren't good sleepers. It's so hard.
@astrid I am massaging but that gets tiring sometimes haha. I haven't tried heat yet, mostly because it's so hot in here. I'm also taking fenugreek and brewers yeast so it might take a few days at least for that to kick in.
Actually this pumping session seems to be going well so far, hopefully this is a trend! Go go milk! Haha. And by well I mean I might get half an ounce if I'm lucky, but that's an improvement!
Pretty much every time he eats so every 2-3 hours although at night I'll go a little longer. I might see if I can up it to make sure it's really every 2 hours.

Nope, you're definitely not alone. My 10 month old was up 3 times last night. I just don't post in here MOTN as I'm just trying to get back to sleep as soon as possible.
Thanks for the support zarapipe, forthelove959, luv2rn4fun, undecidedowl, bananapancakes, jjwritergirl. It's nice to know I'm not alone, but I am sorry that your babies are up all night too. Things had improved for a while and I was naïve in thinking it would only continue to get better. We seem to be sliding backwards. Although, B has been doing better at napping lately so I keep hoping the night sleep will follow! Hugs to you all.
((hugs)) Blue Moon! I hope things get better soon! I cannot imagine what you've gone through...I know this has been a challenge from day 1 with Baby B. I have noticed that C either naps good or does good at night, hardly ever do I get the best of both worlds. I think he's honestly one of those babies that doesn't need as much sleep, or at a minimum follows the lower end of the range for sleep. Hang in there- you are an amazing mom and are doing such a great job!

I am in the same boat. 6 months and up every 2-3 hours. We did CIO a couple weeks ago, but with teething and vaccinations it went out the window. We are going to try it again this weekend I think. I am exausted. So sorry you are in the same spot.
