I'm due to donate blood, and I'm 3 dpo. It's cycle 5, so I've kind of settled into the idea that this could be a while - I have lost the "OMG I might be pregnant!" that I had early on during 2ww's. I'm of the "drink til it's pink" school of thought, and generally going about my normal life until I have an actual BFP-reason not to.
...but I haven't donated during the 2ww before and can't remember how they word the question about pregnancy, i.e., whether they ask "are you?" (no), or "could you be?" (sure, it's possible, we had pretty good timing this month). I tolerate blood donation pretty well and pass the iron test pretty easily, so I'm inclined to think, eh, NBD. But I'm second guessing.
Anyone know, or have advice or even anecdotal "I did/n't because..."?
I didn't donate during the 2ww. I just scheduled for what would be the first week of my next cycle. I just wanted to avoid that question so they couldn't tell me I couldn't donate when I **might** be pregnant.
During the 2ww, the fertilized egg typically doesn't attach until 8-9dpo, right? Early in the 2ww would not matter. How fast does your body recover from giving blood?
I don't think giving blood would affect the uterine lining.

I usually feel it acutely in my workouts for about 3 days, and just feel a tad sluggish for a week or two. But that's in workouts; I feel normal in everyday life by the next day.
I'm sure the smart move is to just make an appointment around what I expect to be CD1-10, and then cancel if I get a good reason to. I'm just trying to live life as normally and not "TTC-focused" as possible, KWIM?
