Sorry, there's going to be a lot of these in the next few months!
If you have a white kitchen, are you bathroom cabinets white as well? We'll have one bathroom downstairs and 2 upstairs. Our floors will be like this on both levels .
Nope, everything is different - kitchen, 4 bathrooms and basement wet bar - and each has its own unique cabinetry We have white cabinets and dark wood in our kitchen. The bathrooms are all (different) tile. Will your bathrooms be tile or wood?

Tile, which is what the picture above is. It's ceramic tile that looks like wood.
I love those floors! I don't think they will show dirt nearly as bad as ours.
We have white cabinets everywhere. We actually had to pay $1000 extra to have white, which sometimes I think was insane. Kitchen and bathroom floors are light colored tile.
Thanks! The showing dirt is why I didn't choose the darker ones, even though I really love them. I remember you saying that and I told my H about it. He said he'd rather pay the extra amount if needed then have me complain about having to settle for something I don't love lol.
Ahhh, I see it is tile now. I think a dark espresso cabinet would look nice if you want to mix it up, especially in a small bathroom. Let me go find pictures.

This is a wonderful philosophy for your husband to have! And one that will surely bit him in the ass, lolol!! But too late!! He said it!! eta: I meant paying for what you love instead of settling

lol! i have to say, we had dark hardwood at our old rental house and it was beautiful but a total PITA to clean and definitely showed dirt a LOT.

He's a smart man! He knows me really well and since I'm the one that actually uses the kitchen haha he's letting me do what I want.
We have light wood, boring builder cabinets, in the kitchen and bathrooms. They all used to match, but I painted one bathroom white. I want to paint everything white, except our master I want to do dark wood in there, but I do not have the patience to do it.

Lol, smart husband! During our house construction I pulled the "If we're doing this, we might as well get exactly what we want, right?" so many times. It did come back to bite me when he brought in the custom AV guys though, lol.

Haha yeah, my husband is already planning on a 3 screen computer set up in the den!
I could always do a different tile upstairs too. It would be in the master bathroom, the boys' bathroom and the laundry room. Then I could do darker cabinets. The downstairs bathroom is just a powder room with a pedestal sink.
Hmm, I can't find good pictures right now. This shows the tile right up against an espresso cabinet (is this about the color of yours?). I think it would look nice, especially with bright white bath tub/toilet.
We went white in the kitchen and a darker coffee color in the bathrooms, but we have lighter neutral tile floors. Let me see if I can find pics on my phone.

Oh, I do like that! Our floors are a little less grey brown but super close! Our bedroom furniture is espresso like that cabinet, would it be too matchy to have our bathroom vanity that color too?
I don't think it would be too matchy. The MBA is adjacent, so some cohesion is natural and expected. When you pick your MBR paint color, you could do the MBA paint a shade or two darker to enhance the flow, too.
I feel equally excited and overwhelmed by all this haha. We get to go to the design center soon and only certain options are available for our floor plan, so that will help.
I'm wanting either granite or quartz countertops for the kitchen, so I'd have to decide on some for the bathrooms too.
I'll probably be live chatting with all of you while I pick stuff out. @veronicasawyer it would make my life a lot easier if you could just give me your number and permission to text you at all hours LOL.
