I need tips, ideas, info, or anything! We are going to take DD1 for her birthday on our Orlando trip. It will probably be DD1, DD2 and me. Is it always packed? Should we do dinner or lunch? Do I need to call now for an April date? About how long does the whole experience take? About how much would the meal cost for the three of us?
Is this because of my Disney thread? I don't think the AG store requires epic planning. You should be able to call and make a reservation for whichever meal you'd prefer. Dinner is more expensive than lunch, but I can't remember how much I spent pp for our last meal there in November.
When I go to the store with DD, we typically spend about 30 minutes per floor (3 floors) at the one in NYC.

I didn't see that thread lol. I plan everything. Our Disney trip was a little over the top with themed outfits for each day. I just want to make sure I don't miss anything and know what to plan for. There isn't an AG store anywhere near us so I don't know much about them.
You can check their site to see if there happen to be any events going on at the store the day you're visiting. They sometimes have workshop-type things that I think you have to sign up for (we've never done any of them).

Call and make reservations bc they book up. We are doing afternoon tea next month. It's $14 each, choice of tea or hot chocolate, mini sandwiches, desserts, and a craft. I'm so excited!

Call now and make a reservation for lunch and also ask for a personal shopper reservation if you have plans to buy anything. They basically dedicate someone just for you and they can help keep your kid on a budget, help them decide what to get, let them really look at the stuff (take it out of boxes, cases, etc).

They have birthday packages for lunch too. Where they have a cake for your child and then the birthday kid and the other kid guests get favor bags and stuff.
You can make reservations online, so I'd go ahead and do it. We had reservations at 12:30 on a Thursday in Early December in Orlando, and we were one of three full tables in the bistro. Lunch prices were reasonable -- under $10 per meal if I recall correctly. We were there 2ish hours for lunch and shopping. DD was getting her first doll, and we wandered a lot. Lines were no issue. Overall, I was surprised by how easy it was to do just two weeks before Christmas.
