I'm pumping in my office. The door's locked. I hear keys and I'm thinking "that's not my door... is it?" As I'm thinking this, I see the door knob turns and the door opens. I yell out "I'm in here!" Coworker walks in with a maintenance guys behind her while she says "oh ok, can we check-". I interrupt her by saying "CAN YOU COME BACK, I'M BUSY RIGHT NOW". I see the maintenance guy back away realizing what is happening. Coworker says she's sorry and they both scurry away. WHAT THE FUCK! WHO DOESNT KNOCK FIRST!??
I'm hoping she at least has the decency to be completely mortified. I would approach her later and ask her to please knock first in the future, just to make her feel extra bad/embarrassed for walking in on you pumping. I'm sorry you had to go through that!

I know, I feel ragey enough to tell her that as a general rule when you see someone door's closed, YOU SHOULD KNOCK FIRST. Regardless if it's locked or not.

The male band director at my school let himself into my locked room when I was pumping. I shouted "CAN YOU COME BACK LATER!!!!" and he didn't get it, he walked in and said "I just have a quick question. . ." and then he realized I was pumping and he turned purple and backed out mumbling and stammering apologies. I still tease him about it.
I find this so horrifying. Just in general. Sometimes I close my office door so I can pick my nose discreetly (with a tissue, people!) My door is closed because it IS NOT OK TO COME IN!!!!!
I've been putting a chair in front of the door to the pumping room even though it requires a key. Luckily the chair has also been keeping the cockroaches out lol
That is so lame! This happened to my coworker the other day. Someone just walked in, apparently our CEO who didn't know that was the lactation room. WTF?!
My male principal did the same thing to me a couple years ago. Didn't knock. Unlocked the door and walked in with a student. I was just finishing up so I quickly gathered myself but didn't have time to fix my bra so it was all undone under my shirt. He never apologized or said anything.
Ugh! Knock on wood, I never had anyone let themselves in. I had students who would be on my door to get in but my partner teacher would usually tell them to go away.

Like, what's the thought process here? "Oh, this door is locked. Instead of knocking, I'll just go get the maintenance man to let me in!"
Our doors all lock if closed so it's not unusual for a locked door. It's annoying though bc there are usually huge signs too but people overlook them and then are mortified
