I did white wine in 1 bottle and vodka in the other bottle.
The trick was to give the liquid lots of room to fizz up, so I only filled the bottle 1/3 full. Gave it one spritz of air, let it sit till all of the foam died down then gave it a second spritz.
Then I slooooooowly released the bottle, letting the gas escape tiny bits at a time.
Wine was perfectly sparked. And my friend who normally drinks vodka tonics with lime only added lime juice and it was perfect.
This is such a game changer and I'm doing it again
So you don't have to put the fizzer (what is that thing called?) IN the liquid?!? I cannot wait to try this.
Yeah, I thought the fizzer thingie had to be touching the liquid too. I should give it a try!
Nope! The fizzer nozzle wand thing doesn't need to be submerged in liquid. In fact it didn't even come close to touching the liquid since the bottle was 1/3 full.
