Are you just against standardized testing in general, or can you share your reasons?
I tend to be against any reform that is not grounded in peer-reviewed literature. I have not been convinced that there is any benefit to these tests (for students, teachers, schools-- maybe for politicians) and suspect there may be great harm.

Don't forget whatever company makes the tests. ($$$)
I'm on a Facebook group regarding this, (FSA) and there are a TON of kids opting out.
And me? I was talking to our school librarian who was asking if I was going to opt-out. I haven't been able to come to any of the discussions or "parent training" because of evening conflicts with the girls' programs but she had strongly suggested that I opt out the girls. Kiddo does well on tests, Kidlet not so much. Kiddo has ADD but grew up learning to read well but tends to get distracted (I have no fear of how well she would do on the test), Kidlet has ADHD and reads well but doesn't think beyond the surface and glosses over the actual questions (and therefore misses quite a few of them). I have quite a few concerns about how well she would actually do, particularly on math portions.
Our school librarian took the test herself and said it was horrible and difficult and covered areas our students haven't even approached yet. I'm not a fan after hearing that. She is an excellent teacher, obviously very pro-education and even she thinks it should be abandoned. If we have enough parents opting out, they will pull the program is the hope and expectation.
