It snowed a few inches last night in Pittsburgh. Apparently south of the city got twice as much as the northern suburbs. Weird. The problem is they didn't TOUCH the roads, so, at best, it was a solid 2-3" of slush. I'm a snow driving champ, so it didn't bother me. I'm headed north tonight, and luckily they've stopped with the show.
I'm in the Philly burbs and it's coming down pretty good. The roads seem like they didn't even bother preparing for this storm. Work, of course, did not close this morning, though H is home with DD. Apparently HR will be "reassessing the storm threat" at 12:30 and deciding if we'll close early, which I'm sure we won't.
Central CT and I can't see out a window so I'm not sure what's going on. Earlier it was sleeting. I'm all set. They are forecasting 40s and 50s next week so I'm praying this is the last of it.
It's not supposed to snow for the next 5 days at least! Hallelujah! It's also supposed to be above freezing today for the first time in about a week. I am overjoyed.
in Utah it is sunny but windy and cold. There is technically show on the ground from Monday but it is mostly melted. My phone weather app says its 30 degrees outside.
Lexington KY - 16-17 inches of snow and it's still coming down, although the end of the snow is close. This is serious record breaking snow for us.
I liked this because I'm in Lexington too, not because I actually like it, lol. I can't believe it's still snowing. I'm never going to be able to leave my house again, am I
Also NoVA, it switched over from rain to ice to snow really quickly this morning around 9 for us. It's been coming down steadily since then, and temps are dropping with it as well. DD's school district canceled last night, and DH and I are both fed employees, so we're all home today. It's really nice to have a lazy snow day now that DH is home.
