I would serve it, but I think the chances of a two year old drinking it are slim. I think Pedialite only works for infants who don't realize how disgusting it is.

This is what happened. He took a sip and said "I no like it."
He ate an applesauce cup before bed so that's something. Has had wet diapers so he's not dehydrated, anyway.

M'y kid is getting ibuprofen that expired 5/2014, so yes I would. We take expired meds on a regular basis. It isn't like they go bad the day after the date. If it looks ok and smells ok we give it unless it is like over 5 years old.....and I'm in the medical field
Nope, but Ive always been strict with expiration dates.
Somewhat related freaky story. I had an old Co worker that once took expired tylenol and he went temporarily blind. I can't remember all the details now but that has always stayed with me. Now when I see an expiration date I think, nope, dont want to go blind.
There has to be more to this story. I am intrigued even though I will never know the answer. I have been working on an expired bottle of acetaminophen for over a year now, I really don't want to waste it, and have had no problems. Also, awinter, did you know that the Public safety building in your town has an expired pill drop off box? I saw it on the website when I was trying to figure out how much money my brother makes Lol.

I agree there has to be more. All I remember was he took it and then went blind lol. I can't even remember how long, like hours or a day.
I learned of that drop off just last week actually because someone on the town fb page was asking about disposing of old medicine.
And btw, have you ever been on the town fb page? Oh, the drama over the stupidest things! It provides some entertainment for me and H at least once a week.

Oh, I haven't but I will check it out now. The drama in your town cracks me up.

H gets annoyed because people take themselves so seriously lol. One Saturday afternoon we had a divorced couple arguing through various threads. It was hilarious. Every few weeks we have to have a post to talk about how the board isn't for personal call outs etc.
@awinter, the woman running for planning board seems to be on a roll. My dad has lived in town his entire life and loves to complain about how seriously the other residents take themselves. Have you ever been to a town meeting. I went to a few in high school, and they are always a trip.
