I think the ottoman acting as coffee table is a harder one to pull off and not always practical. Additionally I kind of feel like this piece looks more bench at the end of the bed than ottoman.
I don't love it with you sofa. It looks more like something you dragged in from another room rather than intentional. The shape seems off. Does the manufacturer have an ottoman for this sofa?
It's not so much the tufting is too matchy, but that the pieces don't relate. The nailheads and wooden legs don't seem to coordinate with the upholstered ones. A pattern or strong texture fabric would be more interesting. I also kind of feel like the couch is a much higher end piece and that will be obvious when they're next to each other.
I do not like that ottoman. It feels like it's the wrong shape and two different tufted colors seem too matchy.
I think you need a warm wood element and/or a round or square element with that couch. Like this gray/warm wood or leather elements in this room. Only you might need a round leather ottoman/pouf if that was in lieu of a coffee table.
The square fabric-covered white one in your inspiration photo of the white version of this couch is not a bad idea.
Or just using side tables and tables in other areas of the room and letting the couch shape dominate the space is good... Emily Henderson did this room.
Or a wood coffee table with beautiful feet like this, but maybe more rounded or oval for your curved couch would look good.
